Beautiful large condo in a gated community located across from the new Babe’s Beach on the Seawall. Just minutes away from great restaurants, shopping, Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens and other attractions. It has a full size washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen, as well as brand new everything (furniture and electronics). Cable and high speed WiFi. High ceilings! King bed in bedroom with a large walk-in closet, Queen sleeper sofa in living room, and extra fold out twin bed available. Granite counter tops, large walk-in shower, patio and storage room. Two resort style lavish pools, 1 with heated jacuzzi, the other with a kid's pool, and 2 picnic & BBQ areas. State-of-the-art fitness center with 24-hr access. Our condo is facing the back of the complex - we view it as an advantage since it is very quiet and all front facing units have a lot of traffic noise from Seawall and sand blown in by the wind continously. Unit has wheelchair access ramp on 1st floor, no stairs. Walmart 5 min walk just across the street. Very peaceful and quiet - a perfect getaway spot!
"Winter" Texans and everyone else are welcome to book long-term stays (large discounts on 30+ days bookings). Month-to-month rental available currently for $1,750 plus utilities - inquire on availability.
HOA requires all guests to obtain a parking pass from the front office. The new HOA parking policy starting March 1, 2023: "1-3 days parking rate is a flat $40.00. 3 or more days parking rate is a flat $50.00". Please come to the front office for parking registration. If you arrive after office hours, you may come in to the office first thing in the morning. It is required for guests to provide a Driver’s License when they register and pay for parking. Please bring your DL when you go to register for parking in order to receive a parking pass. #galveston

Pros-Great location, great pool, and really comfortable bed. Also had great communication with the owners. Cons-WiFi never connected, washer and microwave did not work. Gate code was not updated on the app so we were stuck at the gate. Owners were made aware and answered the best they could.

February in Galveston

Kevin and Katerinas property at The Dawn Condominium was the perfect place for us to stay through the Mardi gras Festivals in Galveston. Located on a quiet, secure section of Babe Beach just minutes from all the downtown festivities and close to all the historic famed restaurants. We walked the beaches everyday taking pictures of the spectacular sunrise. The condo itself was clean and spacious provided with everything needed to make us feel at home. My wife stated that all she really was missing was her cat. I do highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet getaway from the higher latitudes of the northern winter. We would most definitely return again.

Overall nice condo for the price. Clean and location close to all tourist spots and Walmart. Was a little disappointed that it's in the very back as had another idea in my head when booking. The whole complex is located across the seawall from the beach but this one has no patio view of ocean or pool or anything but park lot fence. But I'm sure ones on other end are more expensive. Only problem with room was it has a nest, which we had no idea how to use and we could not get room cool enough to be comfortable. I'm sure it was on an energy saving mode but didn't know how to get around that. Had it not had ceil fans we would not have been even close to being cool enough. Besides that it was a nice place.

This is the place you want to stay at - luxury living on the beach!
