VRCC Villa Boaters Paradise

This gorgeous holiday villa is located in the heart of the Yacht Club Area, one of the most desirable residential areas of Cape Coral.
on foot you can reach restaurants, bars, supermarkets or the pier. This holiday home is especially suitable for families with children. Free tennis courts and playgrounds are available at the foot of the yacht club.

For boat enthusiasts, this house is the perfect choice. Within 5 minutes you are on the river that leads you directly to the Gulf of Mexico and to the most beautiful beaches in the area. The house boat is optional for rent, which is highly recommended. It eliminates the annoying driving to the jetty or cumbersome mooring dock. You drive comfortably, from the only for the tenants of the house usable boat lift.

Our holiday villa is located on an extra large plot. Privacy was very important to us when choosing the house. The pool area is well protected by the intersection of the house from prying eyes.

The pool can be heated by a separate heater even in winter to pleasant temperatures well over 30 °. The whirlpool was renewed in the winter of 2017 with the most modern technology and offers massage jets now also the possibility in the winter months to quickly reach the desired temperature.

Our house can comfortably accommodate 6 people in 3 bedrooms. In addition, there is a lockable study with a sofa bed for a further 2 persons.

From the elegant, light-filled living room you can enjoy the view of the large pool, the wide canal and the tropical garden. The glass sliding doors can be completely opened, so that sets a great interior-exterior feeling. The living room offers a large LCD TV, Wi-Fi surround system and Apple TV (German television) sufficient entertainment possibilities.

!!! The pool table that is visible on some pictures is no longer available, it has been removed from the house !!!

In addition to the large master bedroom (42'LCD) with electric-individually-adjustable king size bed, you have another queen size bed in the second bedroom and a queen size bed in third bedroom available.

The master bedroom has a spacious shower. The guest bathroom offers a bathtub / shower and all possibilities also for families with small children.

Also from the kitchen with oven, cooker with ceramic hob, fridge and microwave you have the fantastic pool and canal view. All imaginable kitchen appliances are at your disposal.

From the living room, dining room and master bedroom there is direct access to the pool.

The lanai offers plenty of space for long barbecues by the pool. The grill is mobile, so even evenings directly on the boat dock would be possible. In addition to a TV at the pool deck, the Wi-Fi surround system is also available here to enjoy your own music at the pool comfortably and in very good quality.

Of course, there is free high-speed WiFi throughout the house. Using amplifiers, we were able to extend the Wifi-range even to our boat dock.

great home for price and location

when i checked in and met the manager James, he informed me that i was the first person to rent this home in 2 years due to hurricane damages. everything in the home was newer and the few issues we had were taken care of right away. the communication was great with James. the biggest negative was there was no pool table like the pics showed. but James assured me they would remove that picture for future rentals. the pool and hot tub were great especially after playing a long day of baseball and being able to relax.I'm sure more upsates will happen in the coming months, but i will sure look to rent this home again next season for 2 weeks again

Updated house with an awesome Pool and Hot Tub!

Overall this house is great. The question is, how hard do you want to be with these Cape Coral owners? I empathize with them after Ian. So most of the negative is due to that. I think the management company and VRBO have to update the pictures. It’s a different house now. No pool table, no hammock, garage is full of building supplies. No pictures on wall. Samsung pads don’t work. Use Pentair app for pool controls. I did have to pay for pool heater and AC for electrical. (Yes they charge extra) 3/5 tv’s have google chromecast and you have to stream your own services. WiFi works great. House was thrown together, maybe owner can clean it up a bit. laundry and Kitchen need smoke detectors. Brand new grill was great! Ice maker in fridge needs repair. Overall it was worth the value!

First Timers

This was our first time renting a house through VRBO. We chose this particular property because of the pool and the billiards table. Plus we are very familiar with Fort Myers but wanted to see a different area. Our kids loved swimming in the pool and playing billiards. The close proximity of Cape Coral Yacht Club Beach was a huge plus.

Pictures Need Updating

We rented this property for a small, friends getaway where we intended to stay on property to relax and lounge for a long weekend. While overall the property was fine, the listing and pictures need to be severely updated. The owners have the house listed with 2 kind beds and 1 queen bed. In reality, there are two queens and a king bed. Much of furniture and kitchenware is in dire need of replacement and/or repair. The kitchen baseboards were completely exposed as if they had done construction in the kitchen but left it done halfway. If renting the home to stay in and cook, it is definitely not recommended as many utensils and cookware are missing and or mismatched. As another reviewer mentioned, one of the rooms does not get enough AC and seemed to be perpetually warm, even with the fans on. We also had a small issue with the pool, where it was supposedly treated on day we arrived and we were assured by the property manager that we could use it the next day. Unfortunately, there must have been a miscommunication between the property manager and pool cleaning company as when we did use the pool the following day, the chemicals were so strong that it bleached our body hairs and left our skin very dry, I would even say we incurred some minor chemical burns. In fact, I am not sure it was in fact treated until the morning after we arrived. However, when we were able to enjoy the pool on our last day, it was lovely to be out and the location by the canal was also nice. The pool table was also a nice touch as we did use it often. I will add that the Bjorn from the rental agency was very helpful with all of our questions and inquiries, unfortunately, he had no control over these issues.

Perfect for us!

The house is at a great location both by car and boat! Liked that we were almost at the end of the canal because there was no boating trafffic. Stores within 3 to 10 minute car ride, easy in and out! House was spotless when we arrived, pool and lanai area were favorite hang out place plus having the pool table definitely added to the family fun every day, it was a hit with our teens. Property Manager and owner were quick to respond on just a couple of very small issues we had. It was a great week!

Family getaway

The house looks great in the pics shown, but when i got there i realized the house is very outdated. Needs deep cleaning, theres was dust on all windows and even the dressers. The house smelled musky. The master bathroom had mold on the shower tiles. One of the guest rooms was very hot, never got cold. The only good i can say was that we enjoyed the pool area and bbq area and the lakeview was nice also the deck area.

Double Booked, didn't get to stay!

After driving 20+ hours to the house that I had booked we recieved a notification on our verbo app that our check-in was ready. We had already been given the code to the home so we went straight to it. Once we opened the door we noticed that other peoples belongings were scattered amongst the kitchen and living room. We called the house manager who informed me that the house had been double booked and that he had just moments before sent me an email explaining that. He told me that he had another vacation home a few streets down that we could go to. After sitting outside that house for 3 hours with 3 hot cranky children that just needed to use the bathroom he offered us a discount. We were stuck 7 states away with no where to stay. We agreed to his discount as to not be sleeping on the streets. Although this house was lovely (if that was what we were looking for) it had NOTHING that the home that booked had. We purposely booked the home based on the kid friendly set up. The heated pool, hot tub, pool table, shuffle board and patio game room set up. Full house and patio surround sound, fishing dock with fire pit and the topper was the boat that came with the house that we had discussed renting for the day. The replacement home had none of these things. Our entire vacation was downgraded. We wasted a day that was planned to be at the beach trying to figure out where we were going to stay. The day meant to be spent out on the boat, that the kids were most excited about, never got to happen. We even tried to book through local boat rentals but they were all full. This was such a disappointment and totally unacceptable! We will not be booking through this company again!

Fabulous stay but with reservations

We booked the villa back in August 2018 and had been anticipating a fantastic holiday for months. We spent a lot of time looking for the right villa with the facilities we wanted in the right area, so were please when we found this one. Unfortunately due to an admin error there was a mistake on the booking and we were asked to go to another villa on the day we arrived - not a good start. The new villa (Villa Melina) was just around the corner (just refurbished and everything brand new). We entered the villa and were disappointed to find no pool table and no Jacuzzi, however overall the Villa Melina was much nicer than the Boaters Paradise villa. We accepted the new villa and began a fabulous week in the Cape Coral area. Bjorn was very helpful and apologetic with the mix up and allowed us to use the boat for a discounted price (recommend this option - only 10 mins from the river and a great day out) Our only issue was the pool is not heated and it felt freezing after a day out in the sun.(not to everyone's taste but we would prefer a little heat).The villa was very clean and had everything else in it that you would need. We would have given 5 stars if we had the pool table and heated pool.

We had the good fortune of staying at Boaters Paradise Villa for five nights. The home is very lovely and spacious. It was fun learning of its historic background and it is in excellent condition and the upgrades blend in perfectly with its style. The neighborhood is well kept and safe. The location is well situated in the Cape Coral area, with all amenities conveniently nearby. The property manager and the boat instructor were a pleasure to work with. This is a great accommodation for couples and families. Nice boat, we are glad we rented it. We don´t want to miss this experience. We highly recommend giving it a look! Almost heaven at absentminded

We walked in to a very sharp ultra clean vacation home with very comfortable beds. All of the cooking items ( pans, silverware, etc) were of high quality. The pool was heated and the water was always warm esp in Dec. ...Great to swim in esp after playing golf. Three very nice courses in the area and plenty of very good eating places. Loved grilling and eating out in the patio area,,...all screened in by the pool. Renting the boat was one of the best decisions. We will never forget these awesome experiences. The property management were very gracious and immediately handled any problem that came up. They gave us many ideas on where to go and things to do. Thanks for the great time. We liked the home so much that we booked it for next year. Sorry you will have too look for another place..lol.

Nice Home, Great Pool, Good Location, but Frustrating Managment

The property was nice. An older home and nothing extravagant, but the home was clean and well laid out, we loved the outdoor dining space with TV. There were plenty of kitchen items, beach towels, etc. We had rented this particular home (instead of newer, less expensive rentals) because we wanted to also rent out the Sea Ray boat shown in the photos which we lined up to rent for a day. Instead the boat the was there was an old, not well maintained, Hurricane boat covered in black mold and seats very torn. Management claimed the Sea Ray had issues, and still wanted full rental rate for the other boat. We declined using this boat, and paid a premium to rent from a local company at the last minute. The least they could have done was notify us ahead of time so that we could have shopped around for a different boat rental. No apology given either. Communication was lacking and we were not given the code for the home until I asked for it the day of check-in, and even then it was the wrong code & we had to be let in remotely. At this point I was really worried that we had been scammed, luckily not the case. The breaker for the fridge was off when we checked in and management did not respond to our calls for at least an hour. The pool heater wasn’t working and so they sent out an employee the next day to take a look, they came and left without fixing the problem. A second employee was there later that day & realized the pool was about 4” too shallow which was why the pool heater would not turn on. He filled the pool and this solved the heater issue, however now we had a very cold pool which we were then footing the bill to heat. By day 3 of our 4 day stay the pool was finally at a comfortable temp. This property did not disclose in the listing that you pay extra for electricity, but they take it out of your security deposit. Other listings on VRBO state this in the initial listing which this one should really do. There is a grill to use but if you use their propane you incur a charge or you can go purchase your own. Also, only a roll of toilet paper on each of the rolls in the two bathrooms with no spare toilet paper, so expect go to purchase that too. Communicating and being upfront would help immensely. There were no checkout instructions given so we spent a lot of time cleaning in case we would be getting charged for not doing so. Not knowing what we would all be charged for made the experience more stressful than it should have been.

Einfach traumhaft!!

Wir haben uns bei dieser Anmietung von der Kontaktaufnahme zum Vermieter bis zur Abreise gut betreut gefühlt. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war angenehm, alle Fragen wurden schnell beantwortet. Das Haus selbst lädt mit seiner angenehmen Ausstattung und der schönen Lage (nähe Yacht Club, wenige Minuten mit dem Boot zum River) zum entspannen ein. Es ist alles vorhandenen was man für einen schönen Urlaub braucht. Besonders hat uns der vorhandene Billardtisch und das zeitweise angemietete Boot gefallen. Unsere anfänglichen Bedenken bezüglich der Boots-Nutzung wurden durch eine ausführliche Boots-Einweisung zerstreut. Es war ein entspanntes und schönes Erlebnis. Besonderes Lob verdient die Hausverwaltung. Ihre freundliche und kompetente Betreuung trägt dazu bei sich von der ersten Minute in diesem Hause wohlzufühlen. Wir kommen wieder
