The location is fantastic! Minutes from the main drag and two blocks from the beach. Quiet street. However it's a basement apartment, and only two rooms have plug in AC units and two fans to help circulate air. We went in the summer during a heat wave and the temperature inside hovered around 77. There were two dehumidifiers that needed changing every day, and it was still moist and smelled musty. You can also hear footsteps from the people above. The kitchen was nice, however there were some issues with the fridge that needed to be addressed. The host was fast to respond. There's a shared outdoor space for sitting and a hose to shower off sand.

Thank you for highlighting the excellent location, quiet street, proximity to the beach and downtown, updated kitchen, outdoor amenities, and our responsiveness as hosts. We would, however, like to clarify a few points for future guests. The apartment is accurately represented in our listing, including its location within the property and the amenities provided. As with many coastal properties, particularly during an unusual summer heat wave, humidity can be elevated. The dehumidifiers are intentionally provided to help manage coastal humidity and improve guest comfort—not because there is an underlying moisture issue. Because they actively remove moisture from the air, their reservoirs may require emptying during periods of especially high humidity. Regarding the temperature, the guest reports that the apartment remained around 77°F during a significant heat wave. The property is equipped with air-conditioning units and fans as described in the listing. Guest comfort preferences can certainly vary, but maintaining approximately 77°F during extreme outdoor temperatures is not indicative of a lack of cooling. As for sound from upstairs, this is part of a residential property, and some normal household movement may occasionally be heard. We make every effort to maintain a peaceful environment for everyone staying at the property. We remain proud to offer guests a quiet location just two blocks from the beach and minutes from the area’s main attractions. Cheers!

Really great stay!

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The location is great- close to things but quiet and peaceful. Was worried it might feel damp being that it is a basement unit, but it was not an issue. The parking is tight but luckily the next spot was not taken during our stay. Will definitely consider coming back!

Quality time with grandchildren

The apartment was perfect for us. We even managed with one bathroom! LOVED that it was so close to the beach and boardwalk! We all enjoyed Rehoboth beach and paddle boarding in Dewey. Fun town prices are very reasonable for rides and you can actually get a descent pre for your tickets in the arcade! (Not so at the Jersey shore…)

Long Weekend in Rehoboth

Property is well maintained, clean, and spacious. I was with a group of 5, and while there are 3 bedrooms, the couch is large enough that it works just fine for sleeping on. The location is great, just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and boardwalk. The check-in and check-out process was super easy. We tripped a breaker in one of the rooms, and the host was very quick to respond. I definitely recommend this host!

Fantastic location for a weekend away!

Overall amazing experience. The basement property was plenty spacious for the 6 adult guests we had. Had a quick question regarding check-in and the host answered immediately and was very kind. Overall it was a good stay. The location is fabulous and the apartment was very cute. The host as really helpful even when we lockwd ourselves out, The place was pretty clean although we spotted a bug or two. My main comment is that I underestimated how much of a truly basement apartment this is. Complete w the musty smell. They did everything possible to dehumidify and filter the air but it was still quite musty. And there’s no real outdoor space w this unit which was disappointing.

Beautiful place in a great location

Beautiful basement condo with off-street parking. The pictures are very accurate. Decor is modern/contemporary and the unit was very clean, like 100% spotless. Owner provided nice touches like snacks and a few coffee pods for the machine. Location is great, 2 blocks to the beach, two streets over from Rehoboth Ave. Park the car in the back and no need to touch it again until you leave to go back home. Couple notes: The entry stairs might be a bit challenging for someone with mobility issues, and if you’re over 6’ just watch your head on the bedroom doorways. Would happily stay here again!

Great location for access to the beach and restaurants. While the listing photos are pretty accurate, there were some differences between the furniture and appearance. What others have said about parking is true. It is a tight spot for any car when the other spots are used by guests of other units, and certainly won't work for larger suv/vehicles. Permit street parking is possible (and that is what we did), but it is an additional cost from the city and most of the surrounding streets are metered parking, meaning the permit street parking in front of the house is one of the few spots nearby to do that kind of parking and it rarely has spaces open. The A/C units are also very loud, so not for light sleepers.
