Great little apartment right on the beach. Perfect for us and our pups. Apartment has a really nice deck overlooking the bay and the backyard was full of amenities, like picnic tables, fire pit, and a little portico near the beach. Easily walkable to many Highland restaurants. Ron was available and super-responsive as well.
The place was small but nice for 2 people. Everything that was listed was included (like spices, and coffee maker, even shampoo and things). Bed and living room convertible couch were comfortable (along with pillows and covers). TV had good channels. Had a chance to speak with the property manager/owner and he was very nice. The walk to the beach is just like pictured. There was seating in front of our front door with shade cover from the deck above us. There was seating on the ground floor as pictured, and there was seating/chairs at the beach. The only thing is that it's a pretty 'rocky' beach compared to the beaches at Sandy Hook across the bay, but that also means good shell hunting, if that's your beach thing. And the water was not nearly as inviting as on Sandy Hook. But Sandy Hook is just right there across the bay (5 minute drive at most) and I highly recommend visiting it. We tried alot of the neighborhood eating establishments and most were OK with nice staff. But the best area restaurant was The Mule Barn on Sandy Hook (fyi, you don't have to pay the entry fee to Sandy Hook if you just want to go there, instead of the beaches) and I highly recommend it. I would book it again.
