My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the lake. The views from the decks and the enclosed front porch are outstanding. Kayaking in the morning followed by a swim off the dock every day. Short drive to Tanglewood and Norman Rockwell Museum. Everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen. Dan was a great host and responded quickly when we had questions. Great vacation!!!

This property is a fabulous place for a family vacation. Dan is an excellent communicator. The house is spacious, comfortable and has an updated kitchen with full amenities for cooking/barbecuing, The deck leaves ample room for entertaining with a bonus outdoor fireplace with wood provided.The lake is right in back of the house and offers picturesque sunsets and sunrises. Queechy Lake is one of our favorites! The lake is pristine (although a bit weedy by the shore but if you jump off the dock you can avoid those weeds).We look forward to returning!

Beautiful location

This house is very lovely and comfortable. The patio, fireplace, and view of the lake are exquisite. So convenient to have kayaks handy as well We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Our favorite local lake

Perfect spot on the lake and the house was great and very clean on arrival. The decks, fireplace and dock enhanced the outdoor space with plenty of chairs and tables.

Great location

This house was a great location on a lake. Outdoor fireplace built into the deck and two kayaks that we didn’t get a chance to use. Close to the Berkshires and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great House

Stayed here with co-workers. House was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room for everyone and very comfortable. Better then advertised. Needed to add additional nights and out host was able to accommodate quickly. Great views off the back deck out to the lake. Would like to head back with the family.

We had a lovely stay on Queechy Lake at Callaghan’s’ lake house. Very comfortable and kitchen easy to work in. The fireplace was great, with plenty of firewood. We all enjoyed kayaking and some enjoyed swimming.The weather was perfect! We had our 50 th wedding anniversary celebration on the deck with our local families.Our only concern is that the house is not handicap friendly, which was a little difficult. Handrails in bathroom showers would help.

Lovely lakeside home

This home is large, with 5 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a very updated kitchen, complete with everything needed for any kind of food prep. The Internet was excellent. Wonderful large outdoor deck area and an enclosed porch with lake views. I loved watching the mist rise off the lake in the early morning. My only proviso has nothing to do with the home or the owner but sadly that lakes are suffering from weed growth. Environmental protections often prevent quick removal. This situation made walking into the water here for a quick swim something of an ordeal. Happily, the owner has a membership to a nearby beach area with entry into lovely clear water. The location is great. About 20 minutes to Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony, and just as close to many Berkshire towns and tourist sites. We had a great time staying at this property.
