Our stay was wonderful at the beautiful log home. Lots of room for our family and close to many attractions in the area. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at your cabin. It was the perfect place to unwind during our son’s busy wedding weekend. It’s quiet and cozy and the beds are super comfy. Wish we could have stayed longer to be able to enjoy it more.
This cabin was the perfect home base for exploring the Laurel Highlands. The home was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the deck and the fire pit. Thanks for sharing your home with us, Mary.

Thank you for the great review and hope you’ll visit again!
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was in order and many extras were available, if needed. Communication with the property manager was top notch and deserves more than a 5 star rating. We would recommend this property if you are looking for a secluded getaway that is close to all the area has to offer.

Thanks so much for your positive review. My number one goal is to make your stay is as enjoyable as possible. My cleaning team was impressed at how nice you left the property-thanks!
This was the perfect place for my family to gather after skiing all day! We were well rested and able to enjoy down time and meals together. Thanks so much!!
We had two families who live in different states gather at this cabin to celebrate New Year’s. The accommodations worked out very well for us. The games at the cabin were fantastic! The kitchen needed at least one baking pan to put food in the oven.
This property was perfect for hosting our family and friends for my husband’s 60th birthday. Plenty of room to spread out, play games, watch the Eagles beat the Giants and eat wonderful food. Mary was super to work with and a wonderful host. Very close to Hidden Valley and 7 Springs Ski Resorts.
We stayed here right after Christmas with our extended family of 8, as a home base for skiing a t Seven Springs. The cabin was perfect, tons of rooms, lots of games, plenty of kitchen equipment and utensils, a table big enough for all of us, and a great cabin feel. It’s only 10 minutes from Seven Springs (and just under an hour to Pittsburgh in case it’s too warm to ski - great city to visit). Easy to access but still very private. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for the nice review! I’m so glad you enjoyed yourselves and hope to see you again!
A little off the beat and path but handy enough. Clean and comfortable. Steps may be a little challenging for the elderly and in some of some more room to turn around vehicle. Would certainly consider this property in the future.

Always have a great time here!!!!
We have stayed here 3 times in the summer and love it.
The house was very clean and had some nice upgrades since we were there 2 years ago. The deck is huge, covered porch is great if it rains, and lots of outside games....
The owner is amazing...very accomodating.
We enjoyed kayaking and rafting in nearby ohiopyle, shooting sporting clays at Buffer Creek sporting clays in Somerset, and one of the best restaurants we have ever been to called Out of the Fire Cafe...it's a bring your own...world class food.....went their twice this time...
Highly recommend this property.
What a lovely location! Mary was very responsive and the cabin was very nice! It was cozy...I especially liked letting my daughter be able to wonder around in the snow and woods (you know, helicopter distance) something she doesn't have a chance to do in the city. My two little dogs loved their private outside space that was completed fenced! (if this was a test, shi tsus are not made for the wild!) Thank you! We hope to come back!

We spent the weekend with 2 other couples at the cabin. Lots of privacy from surrounding neighbors due to the large mountain laurel. Cabin was clean. Spent the entire time hanging out in the first floor. The fireplace was a tremendous asset with an abundance of firewood that was perfectly cut. The temp went down to zero the first night and thus roaring fire. We didn’t use the large upstairs as it was set up as a game room with foosball and other activities. Not sure if tv in that room. If we had kids with us they could have utilized that space away from the parents. The wooden floors throughout the cabin were extremely squeaky for an ~ 20 year old cabin. You could hear every footstep upstairs above the master as if the person was walking in your room! Wish there was 2 full baths with showers as there was only one shower and a funky jacuzzi in the middle of the master bedroom. Not taking a bath in that, showering only! The linens, pillows, and towels were provided, but definitely need to be upgraded. As well, the dinnerware could be upgraded too. There was a hodge podge of coffee mugs. A few rather “unique” decorations were perplexing. A large budha in the corner of the kitchen and a large black mannequin upstairs was a little odd. Those few upgrades (not including the harder to do additional shower) would have changed my rating from B- to B+. Checkout was an unusually early 10am, but Mary the owner promptly replied back to me with a several hour extension. If we had kids with us they could have played up there.
Our family spent a snowy Christmas weekend at this lovely chalet in the woods. It had everything we wanted and needed. The owner was kind, and we appreciated staying in her beautiful house.
We totally enjoyed our Thanksgiving getaway. It was everything we hoped for; stress-free, relaxing, comfortable and loads of fun. We were able to relax by the fire, play air hockey and board games, cook a complete Thanksgiving dinner and go hiking. The cabin is clean, well maintained and if needed the owner is available.
