What an amazing place to stay. The cabin was a lot more remote than we expected but the peace that we found was exactly what we needed. THE STARS! Omg the stars! Our first night was clear and we had never seen so many stars. Everything that we could have needed was provided, and the jukebox and games were so much fun! Definitely on the list for places to go back to.
I have booked a few different cabins, this is the one we keep coming back to! From the views to the pinball and juke box this has everything you could ask for!
We had a get together with a few miles and loved this location; pet friendly and host was extra nice to us, really clean and nice roomy place, loved the big yard
Located in a great spot to see lots of MI....Leland is a great lunch spot....absolutely loved the quiet and solitude of the rental...and the Jukebox is so much fun..😁😁😁
Had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Cabin was rustic enough to make us feel far away from the city but also had all the perks to make it comfy and convenient. Owner was helpful and had ready to go instructions that made the stay very easy. Took out little dog who also had a great time :)
We loved our weekend at the cabin. It was quiet and peaceful and just what we needed to take a break from life. The cabin is beautiful and we loved walking in the woods. I loved drinking coffee off the back deck and breakfast at the booth seating with a nice view. Everyone I met in Evart and Reed city were so friendly. We can’t wait to come back!
My family and i absolutely loves staying in the cabin. Todd is great with communication. The house has everything and more than we need. The pinball machine keeps the kids and hubby entertained. We will be back for many more memories!
Above ALL the properties I have booked and stayed at, this is by far the BEST!!!! Actually, the pictures don't do it justice. We walked in to a clean and welcoming beautiful Cabin. My grandkids (5 and almost 3) were absolutely excited to see the pinball machine AND they had Ms. PacMan!!!! To be honest, I'm not sure if they or I was more excited. The place was clean and cozy. Everything you could possibly need was there and more! Beautiful trails to walk and have an Adventure with the little ones. Todd provided plenty of chairs and seating inside and out! The woodwork in this place is SO beautiful. We will definitely be back as this is a great place to "Unplug and Unwind" away from anything busy. Just complete NATURE! Todd was an absolute pleasure and is VERY prompt with answering any questions or dealing with any concerns. SUPER nice guy. :) I could go on and on about how AWESOME this property is but I want it to be available for the future so....that's it!
Was looking for something more homey than a hotel room and this fit the bill. Owner has added fun amenities aka jukebox, pinball, pellet stove and Jacuzzi.
Much nicer than expected. We were looking for a place to sleep but enjoyed the place beyond just a place to crash. Owner was easy to deal with and asked very little on our way out. Will definitely be back. Location was awesome.
It is deep in the woods. Several miles of dirt roads to arrive. I was amazed at how deep in the woods we were and yet had all the amenities of home. Great water pressure with quick flushing toilets, washer and dryer, a couple of cool heat sources ,wifi, and a smart TV. The trails were amazing. We had a great couple days.

The cabin has all the amenities you would need. Staying there was like staying in a nice hotel in the middle of the forest. Pinball machine and Jukebox were used every night. Property has some good trails. Owner is very helpful and makes sure you are taken care of. We will be back for sure.
I was looking for a night away to recharge and a cabin in the woods sounded perfect. This cabin exceded my expectations. Set off the road on a bluff the only sounds I heard were maybe three cars and the wonderful jukebox. Between the solitude of a hike in the
I've never been surprised by a listing being BETTER than in the photos, but this place absolutely is. The cabin, and it's location, are perfect. Todd was great with any questions we had, he is very responsive, and you can tell he loves the cabin too.
We arrived to a warm house, with the pellet stove burning and a beautifully lit Christmas Tree. We brought our 10 year old Yellow Lab with us, and she didn't stop wagging her tail for the entire two days.
Onsite trails, being able to cook in a full kitchen, the wonderfully giant jacuzzi tub, and even the couch are just a few things that make this place perfect.
We will absolutely be back!
If you’re looking for a wooded secluded tranquil stay, this is the place for you. Once leaving the main Highway 10, you travel through rural farm land into rolling beautiful forests. Once you arrive, you’ll find the house situated not far off the road nestled tightly within the woods. This home is comfortably laid out with non-typical features of having a jute box, pin ball machine for entertainment as well as a wood pellet stove to warm up to. The queen bed was very comfortable. The ability to bring our Brittany along for the stay was also a bonus. If you’re planning on doing a lot of cooking beyond needing the basics of basics, bring your supplies. Evart has a really good grocery store if needed. For you trail enthusiasts, whether by foot or motorized, the surrounding state forest offers lots of opportunity to adventure.
It was a very quiet and peaceful three days. We enjoyed the wooded area and the trail. However we got a little lost and ended up on 9 Mile rd and walked back on the road. It would be nice to have trails clearly marked with directional signs. We would also suggest a couple small lamps in the tv/couch area. The overhead bright lights were a bit much for evening time. The snow this morning when we left was beautiful! Thank you.
