View is awesome. We were here during Tropical Storm Arthur. Felt safe but no communication from host on what to do about the property regarding winds or rising water. We loved the crabbing and LATE night fishing was great Pool was awesome. Air conditioning was great.

Place was great. Fantastic A/C. Clean pool. Property mgmt company was prompt in responding to any minor issues. Cooking knives could use replacing but that was a very minor inconvenience.

The blackstone grill outside did not work, we had to take our burgers off and cook them inside…that’s a must! Leak from 3rd floor ceiling to second.

Fun Beach Getaway

Booked an extended weekend stay at this home. Home is beautiful, spacious and well decorated. Pool and large back patio was very nice to have. Close enough to enjoy all the amenities Galveston island has to offer

I have stayed in many VRBO (abnb) homes. I have written a positive review in all of them until now. The house was ok, the shower leaked through the living room ceiling the last day we were there. The toilet in the downstairs bath was hardly secured to the floor and rocked, we did not use it. The pool was very nice. The boat dock does not get cleaned, when we arrived there was dead fish and very smelly boxes of dead items left on the boat dock. We cleaned the area. We bring our own boat every year and the boat lift is a critical part of the home for us. The cord to the boat lift had been cut and spliced back together. The wires were exposed and tripped the outlets. The boat lift did not work. The safety hazard of having exposed wires next to the water at waist level, could cause serious harm or death. My family would have overlooked each one of these issues had the management company responded to any of them. We stayed from Sunday through Saturday. I left several messages via phone and on the app. We did not ever hear from anyone. The occasional (2 times) we have passed your concerns on and someone will be in touch is all we got. I am a home builder. I understand maintance and that things happen in a home. The lack of care and concern is very troubling. The location of this house is great. The house would be worth the money if it was taken care of or at least have a host that is willing to communicate and provide repairs in a timely manner.

Christmas Trip

Enjoyed our stay in the house. The freeze didn't ruin it. We were comfortable with all the conveniences of home. Management was prompt when contacted with issues. We plan to return during warmer weather to take advantage of the pool.

Had a great time.

Overall property was as pictured and met expectations. Couldn’t figure out how to get the dock lights to work but also didn’t ask. Caught several keeper flounder off the dock and a variety of small fish and crabs for the kids. Would definitely return.

Pleased with home

House was clean, it was a nice location. Pool was cleaned right away when called. It was nothing bad where we couldn’t use it till they came. We enjoyed the home, AC worked very well. We enjoyed the pier for fishing and swam while we were there. I wish they provided trash bags but we bought some. I would rent there again.
