NOTE: Owners Shannon & Charlie live in a backyard barndominium where they can be as available as needed but completely invisible otherwise. The entry gate/driveway is the only “shared” space, so you will have the entire house and pool to yourselves! Feel free to make special requests — YOUR enjoyment and comfort is our #1 priority!

FBLA State Conference

Fantastic place to stay! Very accommodating, house is beautiful and even better in real life. We had 8 students and 2 adults for 2 nights for our FBLA state conference in Springfield. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I will definitely look for this home every year when attending the conference in April. Thank you for your hospitality and always being available.

Even better in person

Phenomenal place to stay! Recommend highly for anyone wanting the perfect getaway. Great communication with owner, who gave us a tour in person, and quickly replied to our messages. Amazing for families! Wearing the kids out in the pool before bed is a must! Fantastic amenities for all ages. We will be staying here again soon.

Beautiful house

The house is beautiful with lots to do! We were in town for a mom/daughter wkd with our senior girls! We ended up just staying at the house instead of going out bc the setting was perfect! It’s a little farther outside of town but it didn’t matter! Would totally stay here again! We all wished we had knew about this house four years ago when we started out at MSU! Owners are fabulous — very kind and helpful! Thanks!!

WONDERFUL family stay!

We, along with 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren, chose this beautiful home for a 4 night spring break stay and we LOVED it. There is more than enough room and family things to do to keep everyone happy and busy during your stay. The bedroom layouts worked so well for private bedrooms, family bedrooms, etc.! The host and hostess gave us a wonderful tour upon our arrival and even shared their sweet dog and puppies with us. We had children 8-15 with us and, with adult participation and supervision, they loved learning how to play pool and play in the pool! The kitchen is huge and the fridge/freezers have so much room, so plan to make meals a family affair! Both the kitchen table and the dining room table seat 8! A wonderful selection of family games are also available. Our multi-generation family had a great time!

Wonderful Stay!

We booked this property for a bach party with 10 people. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and we still had beds to spare. The pool was AMAZING and one of the highlights of our weekend. The property is close enough to town if you forgot something, but the house was stocked with the essentials! Plenty of linens, but an available washer/dryer if needed. The dishwasher was a nice perk, as well. The hosts were lovely and so so kind! After the initial walk through with Shannon to give us the basics of maintaining the pool, use of the sauna, and HVAC system we didn’t see them once. They checked with us through the inbox multiple times to make sure everything was going well and to see if there was anything they could do to make the stay better. Everything was clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend this place and would 100% stay again!
