Great stay

Space as advertised. Well stocked kitchen. Lots of wildlife right off the deck (deer, turkeys, rabbits). Would rent again.

Roach Infested Ordeal

The place is infested with field roaches. One or two might not raise any alarms, but there were dozens and dozens all around the house, in the bathrooms, kitchen, and bedrooms. It was clear there was an active nest somewhere in the house. We called their support line and an agent lied and said someone might come out soon. However, the property management office (Vacasa) had no one around until 9am the next morning. If we had known that we wouldn't had stayed. With no word from them, we were forced to stay the night. The next morning we found more roaches in the bed. I'm not kidding, there were literally roaches in our beds and the couch. Vacasa insisted that because they were field roaches and "harmless" it was not covered by their policy and wouldn't help move us or give us a refund. We triple checked all the documents we signed and there is no policy that says this. It was clear they were lying to keep from having to pay up. VRBO was also just as unhelpful. First they said they'd help us, then they needed pictures with 2+ roaches in it, then we did that and the next agent said it "needed to look like a horror movie" which is an impossible ask and a made up policy to avoid paying. Eventually we begged a Vacasa rep enough to get moved to a new place. They said all Vacasa properties in Sea Ranch were infested this time of year (Fall), this was a known problem, and there was nothing to do. So FYI, if you have field roaches crawling all over you, Vacasa and VRBO think its fine.

Awesome Sea Ranch House

Greencroft Modern is a wonderful house from the large open layout with ocean views, a hot tub, and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the easy access to hiking trails and nearby beaches.
