Birthday Celebration

Great view. Lots of space. The master closet is also a baby nursery. So if you have an infant would be convenient. Large kitchen. Lots of beds downstairs with some video games. Internet service is not very good at the lake, so make sure you have a hot spot on your own devices.

Family Christmas

This was the perfect place to celebrate our family Christmas. The property management team was FABULOUS! They are so responsive and friendly. The house was gorgeous. If your family loves to cook and make memories this is the PERFECT place! We had 3 generations - 6 adults, 3 teenagers, 2 toddlers and 1 fury baby and we had plenty of room for everyone. The house was designed to meet everyone’s needs from gaming, arcade games, cooking, fire pits outside, fenced in yard and much more. We will definitely be back! Thank you Southern Charm for helping us make wonderful family memories!

Annual UGA football at the lake

This is a lovely house with a wonderful layout for a larger group. Property is really beautiful with so much included - the game room was a hit with everyone! Only small critiques - a ladder into/out of the water on the dock and an additional dishwasher. All in all a fantastic weekend at "A Good Distraction" and an outstanding Georgia win!!

Best vacation. Would love to stay again!

Beautiful home. Immaculate. Perfect layout. At checkin they gave us code to front door but failed to tell us code to driveway gate. I dont think they even knew there was a gate code as I itsa new property. The problem was that my aging parents. tried and failed to enter for 45 minutes, in the heat. The parking situation was a little challenging. The driveway is narrow. The property managers are terrific! Kind helpful, and gave me restaurant recommendations and the best caterer we’ve ever had! Speaking of, that was for the one organized dinner for the weekend. The table seated all of us perfectly, with a wonderful view of the lake. The lake toys were a blast- sup, kayaks. I think we used every square inch of the house. Terrific use of space and layout. I could go on. Thank you for making our family celebration amazing! Return customers for sure!
