Great stay!

My group and I were very pleased with the space and convenience of this house. It’s been maintained very well and the communication between myself and the manager was without fail. We felt safe and relaxed…definitely renting again if it’s still available.

Perfect Family Vacation

The Classy Crab provided the perfect home for our family vacation. It was clean, very well stocked and comfortable. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and the close proximity to the pool. We rented a golf cart which worked out great getting us around and to and from the beach. Thank you for the memories!

Perfect for our large family!

We had a family of 12 ranging from ages 7-adults. We had a BLAST and had plenty of space. The kitchen and living space was perfect for our group to hang out together while we cooked meals. Every bed was comfortable and rooms are so spacious. We will definitely book this property again!

Wonderful House!

We come to Port A annually and this is probably one of the best houses we have rented. It was the perfect fit for our two families with young adult kids. The management company was very accommodating in helping us with parking for our trailer since it was not allowed in the subdivision. Great rental!

Lovely place! We felt at home and enjoyed our stay! Property had all we needed and then some. Great place for families with little ones alll the wag yo teens…Great place for entertaining. Pool is steps away from home. We loved the landscaping as well as all the attention to details to make our stay convenient. We will definitely book again!

Beautiful beach house

We enjoyed our stay at the Classy Crab! The house is beautifully decorated with plenty of space for our whole family! Loved the proximity to the pool and downtown Port A. To get to the beach, you’ll have to drive because there isn’t direct beach access via boardwalk. With this being taken into consideration, it would be nice to include a golf cart in the rental.

We are glad you loved the house - the Pool had a leak last week and had to be shut off for 24 days while waiting for a part. When that happened, the pool got off balance and took a few days to get corrected. It is all wonderful again! We hope to see you again soon!

Full Family Vaccation

Great house with plenty of room for 7 adults and 4 children. The separate suite was great for our older single son. It was a birthday surprise for him. Our grand kids really enjoyed how close the community pool was to the house location. The older adults enjoyed the location to Beach Access Road 1 and to the beach. Very easy to come and go from the beach with our beach buggie.

First Family Vacay

This was our first blended family vacay. and it was awesome .We had such an amazing time getting to know each other , especially staying up late making smores on the fire pit. The grandchildren loved being there in the house it was so homey and comfortable .Literally the whole house was beautiful and had everything we needed to make our stay awesome. Family Getaway

The house is as they described. We all fit comfortably and with extra space. The only problem is the parking. It says 5 parking spaces but it is actually 4. We also didn't have much room for the golfcarts.

In contrast the management group quickly rectified the problems. We enjoy our time in Porter Aransas and the only other comment I would have is that the barbecue pit Needs to be upgraded .

Nice, Clean and Convenient

We loved the home! It was clean, modern and in a great location. The neighborhood was quiet and felt secure. The home has a beautiful outdoor area which I wish we had more time to take advantage of. The only downside was on the first night we got locked out of the upstairs apt and were told someone couldn't come until the morning to unlock the room. That left us in a tough situation with having to rearrange sleeping quarters for 3 people. Plus all their clothes, medication, baby products, etc were locked up there until someone came by around 10am the next day. Apparently the door knob has a turn lock that got locked and could not be opened with the keypad. I would suggest removing that turn lock knob to prevent others from being locked out in the future. It was a major inconvenience.

Excellent Family Vacation

We are so glad to have found the Classy Crab for our family vacation this year! The house was perfect for our group of 11. There was plenty of room and beds for everyone. We enjoyed spending time at the beach, relaxing in the pool, and playing games downstairs. The upstairs apartment was an oasis for the older adults when they needed time away, and the ping pong and foosball tables were definitely a hit for the younger ones. Overall, it was an excellent vacation.

Each reservation will find a welcome basket when they arrive at our property. The basket includes items from local business partners as well as a Protect Port A trash bag. Use the bag to collect beach trash, then return the full bag to our office in exchange for a local gift certificate to be used during their stay and help keep our beaches cleaner than when you arrive.
