OUR HULA MOON VILLA IS LOCATED IN KOLEA, A PRESTIGIOUS BEACHFRONT COMMUNITY IN WAIKOLOA BEACH RESORT.

Like a scene right out of a postcard, the luxurious Kolea resort is nestled on the shores of idyllic Anaeho’omalu Bay (A-Bay) in the heart of Waikoloa Beach Resort. We’ve provided ALL the little extras that make the Hula Moon Villa truly feel like a home away from home. Each bedroom suite comes with its own HD TV and digital cable. The living room is furnished with a 60” TV, entertainment system, surround sound, and digital cable. We’ve also included a DVD library, board games, free movie channels, and free long distance calls back to the mainland!

Fun in the sun is made easy with full beach gear including towels, chairs, boogie boards, and beach toys. Walk through the private gate to the beach at A-Bay, famous for its golden sands and tranquil blue waters. The Ocean Sports hut has rentals that include snorkeling, kayaking, and sunset cruises. Or just take in the dazzling ocean view from the Kolea Beach Club as you enjoy a morning workout in the open-air exercise room, a swim in the infinity-edge pool, or a dip in the lava-rock spa. Your kids will love the sand-bottom pool and waterfall.

Kim’s place is a serene oasis. The entire Kokea complex is incredibly impressive. The combination of the Lanai, outdoor grill, fridge, and the wall of glass that seamlessly blends into the wall creates a magical ambiance. I highly recommend trying the fresh catch of the day at Kona Fish. Enjoy grilling while watching the sun set, the sky transform into a pink hue, and torches illuminate the area.We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Hula Moon Villa is a beautiful property located in Waikoloa at Kolea. The deck had a great view and inside the Condo was spectacular. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were very comfortable. This is our second stay at Hula Moon! We had a fantastic stay at Hula Moon! The unit was super close to the pool and the beach. Shops and restaurants were within walking distance. The unit was spacious, spotless and well maintained. The owner and onsite management group were very responsive. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, spacious 2-bedroom condo steps from the pool and beach was perfect for our little family! They had beach toys, beach chairs, a cooler, boogie boards, snorkel gear, an umbrella-everything we needed :) The kids loved the pools and hot tub and there were sea turtles everyday swimming by the beach. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at the Hula Moon property. The condo was very clean, convenient, and had everything we needed. The Lania was quiet, private, and a wonderful place to eat dinner and enjoy the evenings. The boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, Snorkel gear, and cooler made our daily trips to the beach easy and fun. We loved our vacation in Waikoloa, and can’t wait to return!

Living Aloha!

Absolutely loved our stay. The home is top floor, beautiful inside and out, close to great shops, beaches. Facilities are top of the line. Spent time at the pool, the beach, walking. Loved the grill on the deck, and listening to birds on the deck in the mornings. AC and ceiling fans worked beautifully. Beds were comfortable too.

We have been coming to the Big Island, specifically the Waikoloa Beach Resort, for many years. It is our favorite of all the islands. We were married on the Big Island in 2008. We love coming to Hawaii on vacation because it's a place where we can relax and enjoy the ocean, see breathtaking scenery, set off on different adventures, hang out with locals that have become our friends, learn about Hawaiian culture or just sink into the easy-going island vibe.

Why they chose this property

After countless times walking to the beach at A-Bay, we would walk by Kolea and dream of having a villa of our own here one day. We feel blessed that our dream has come true!

What makes this property unique

We love being able to just walk to the beach. A-Bay is our favorite beach on the island. We enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the bay as well as relaxing on the beach. One of our favorite things to do is to take the two-minute walk over to the Marriott Resort and watch the sunset over Mai Tai's and dinner. We have made friends with many of the people who work there, and it's always fun to hang out and visit with everybody at the end of another day in paradise.
