The condo is a short walking distance from Eagle Lodge! Well heated unit with 2 master bedrooms and bunk beds. Kitchen has what you need to cook. Had issues connecting tv to internet, but after resetting router and reconnecting we finally got it to work after 1 hours. Beds are too soft and uncomfortable IMO. Received a lengthy email about things not working: oven door, blinds, etc. before we arrived. Reached out to owner/manager about early check-in and took more than 1 1/2 to hear a response. Check-in time was 4 pm and a 10 am check-out: too late and too early IMO. Should be 3 pm and 11 am. Parking on site was fine and quiet area.
This condo was perfect for our family of 8. We always like staying at the Summit to easily walk to Eagle each morning. All the beds were very comfortable and the big sectional couch easily fit the 8 of us to play board games and watch movies in the evening. We did have some issues with the electrical panel but the owner responded quickly to our emails and was able to fix the problem. Will definitely stay here again.
Great place! 4/5 given due to maintenance issues (remote blinds not working, lack of working CO detector, oven didn't work and circuit breaker needed reset more than 10x during 4 night stay. Owner said these are in process of being repaired. Would definitely stay again after confirming repairs are done!
We loved this apartment. Enough rooms and beds for eight of us and large L sectional couch fit all of us.
Short walking distance to eagle lodge ski lift kids were able to walk to and from everyday to the slope.
Owner was very responsive to all inquiries.
We definitely will come back again.

great area but need clarification
Spent all driving then shopping to get in the house and male dinner for family, House was never cleaned.
make sure to note that the apartment is on the 3rd floor with NO elevators and the stairs are as far away as possible. Difficult with ski gear and kids,
The circuit breaker would pop all the time and we would have to reset it.
its walking to eagle so that's a plus.

Filthy Condo & Terrible Slum Host - Stay Away!
So many things went wrong! On check-in, Kuong informed us the oven was broken, something he said he had known about for over a week. We planned for many family meals, so hauling a ton of food (this included a 15 lb turkey) 8 hours to Mammoth only to hear that it was broken was very annoying. When we expressed our concern, he got upset & expressed attitude at us over the phone. Upon entering the condo, we realized right away it was not clean. Carpets hadn’t been vacuumed, food and crumbs were on the counters/tables, a used q-tip was on one of the bunk beds, filthy baseboards, scuff marks all over the walls, etc. The most shocking part was that none of the blankets or sheets on any of the beds had been washed/changed. Long black hairs, black dog hair and public hair covered the sheets. The top blanket on one bed had candy ground into it and on one other comforter, there were patches of white crusty stuff all over it. It was horrifying and so disgusting that this was the place my children had to be in for a week. We had to spend the first 6 hours of our vacation vacuuming, washing/changing sheets and sanitized his filthy place. We documented all of it via photos & videos and submitted it all to VRBO. Not once did Kuong apologize or offer compensation for the time wasted during our vacation. It’s hard to believe he couldn’t even offer us our cleaning deposit back after we cleaned his unit for him.
Also, fuse box pops at least 6-10x/day. Oven is still broken even after repairman

First, let’s clarify the oven issue: it was fixed to my knowledge over a week prior, but no one used the oven since and it wasn’t until the day before that I was informed it wasn’t working. It was attitude she got from me. I was trying to explain to her that the longer she kept me on the phone repeating the known fact that the oven isn’t working, the longer it will take for me to get in touch with someone who can repair it. A simple concept she was not able to grasp.
Second, housekeeping cleans the condo after each guest leaves and before the next guest arrives. The condo was cleaned a couple hours before her arrival and she requested an early check-in, which I provided at no cost. She did not come to me with any pictures or proof about these claims of uncleanliness. And, no one else has ever complained to me or VRBO or Airbnb about poor cleanliness.
Despite demanding a full refund for her “experience,” she still stayed the entire 4 days (not a week - four days).
She claims the oven is still broken and she served a raw turkey to her family. Yet the next guest who checked in the day she departed was able to open the oven door without difficulty and turned the oven on to 500°F, which it reached target temperature without difficulty. Do not blame the host or the appliance for your failure to cook a proper meal.
Given her behavior, quick jump to demanding a full refund, and contacting Vrbo directly instead of working with the host first: this is likely a guest whose sole purpose is to find any little defect and exaggerate it to the point where she thinks she can get her way. This is a total textbook Karen and anyone would be a fool to rent to her.
I did offer a refund. But she hasn’t responded to it.
