We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay at this quaint cozy apt cottage, right next to the beautiful Lake Washington (great views). It was unassuming from the exterior but very clean, cozy and comfortable on the inside. The appliances are all new, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked w/ cooking utensils, dish towels, coffee, etc. We felt very safe and secure at this little cottage, and it was just perfect for my wife and I. Only suggestion would be to add a small dining table and a few chairs in the living area. We'd recommend this cottage to anyone.
When you pull up to the property you are going to be worried, the outside looks like a shed! Once you go inside it is very nice and clean. The owner stocks many things for your convenience. One definite drawback is the listing saying it is a “lake view cottage”, it is NOT! If you have binoculars you can barely see the lake from the living room window
Overall a good location for restaurants and the area, hardly a view of the lake, the exterior view should be posted, it is more of a tattered shack than a home or cottage, overall it suited our needs, but overpriced for what it is, and the host should in fairness post exterior pictures to let potential guests know what they’re getting into. It was not clean, we had ants on the floor, and the windows were in poor shape, screens tattered, just not to the standards that I’ve come to expect for $1200 over 6 days.
In Seattle to attend a 90th birthday party at the Inglewood Country Club. Location was excellent, rates were competitive with local hotels, easy to navigate visits with family and friends.
