Perfect N. Seattle location, 2 bdrm, modern, clean, spacious, parking onsite

Nestled in one of Seattle's famous greenbelts, our beautifully remodeled and well appointed, private unit is located minutes from downtown Seattle, the waterfront and the University of Washington. Only 2 blocks to catch the local public transport. Light rail within 1 mile.
This is a bright daylight private lower unit with owners living above. There is a large patio for your enjoyment. We have easy, fast access to the freeway both North and South.
Our Unit is a large fully furnished 2 bedroom, each w/Queen Beds; 1 bathroom with Walk-in shower and a fully stocked kitchen, living and dining rooms.
Maximum 3 people.
We live in a quiet neighborhood and ask that you respect our home and neighbors. No parties, loud music or noise please.
We have a Heritage Tree in our back yard. A London Plane, over 100 feet tall with a 50 foot canopy. A beautiful giant.
No pets are permitted in order to provide a healthy space for future guests who may be sensitive.
Seattle is an Eco-Friendly city and has comprehensive sorting rules for recycling, food waste and garbage. There is a guide on the refrigerator for your convenience. We provide three separate containers for the different types of waste.
We have designed and furnished the unit with adults in mind. It is not safe or appropriate for babies or small children. Please let us know in advance if you have a pre-teen or teen you will be bringing along. Anyone under the age of 21 needs to be pre-approved for a stay. Also, free WiFi.
Again, owners live above, there are normal household noises (so if you desire complete silence you may want to look elsewhere.)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed with good appliances and plates, glasses, etc. The living area was spacious and the outdoor space was nice. The location is convenient, private and quiet. We would highly recommend this VRBO. Checkin was very easy and the hosts are very nice and helpful.

Wonderful getaway in the woods

A wonderful stay while visiting family. We very much enjoyed all the amenities and was impressed at the level of cleanliness. everything was spotless, well maintained and of high quality. John and Rachel could not have been more welcoming. We would rate this property 6 stars if we could. We will definitely stay here again for future trips to Seattle. We all enjoyed our stay, made for a wonderful visit.

Lovely apartment --perfect location & The Best Owners!

My husband & I had the good fortune of staying here for more than one week. A newly-decorated apartment welcomed us, with spotlessly-clean kitchen and bathroom. Lots of lovely finishing touches made us feel all the more at home. The landlords carefully respected our privacy and kindly accommodated our teenage daughter when she arrived. Dinners on the outdoor patio were a special treat! This was a wonderful find, and we definitely hope to stay there again! ☺☺☺

Comfy,Clean,Thought of everything

Rachel and John have created a wonderful place to stay! The two of us- were in Seattle for business and enjoyed this terrific VRBO. The apartment was perfectly clean,comfortable and so organized. Thoughtful details that were offered -free shampoos,lotions,coffee,and a book full of suggestions and directions. This charming 2-bedroom apartment had ample space and great to come to for relaxation after a long day of work! The extra high shower head was great too! The neighborhood is serene and makes you feel like you are in the country- greenery everywhere! We highly recommend it!

Just Right in Victory Heights

Our hosts, Rachel and John, have done a marvelous job of anticipating the needs of their guests. This spacious flat is well-appointed and comfortable, with a full kitchen and two bedrooms, and they were generous in offering chocolates and a bottle of wine as welcome gifts. We communicated about a few minor issues, and they were quite helpful and responsive. Moreover, the neighborhood is charming, full of interesting walking streets and modest, custom-built homes with well-developed landscaping. There is also a creek hike within just a block, amid a verdant woodsy ravine. Overall, this unit is a great value, and a unique experience.

Beautiful facility in a quiet neighborhood

My mom and I stayed here for a week and it was a wonderful experience. The owners were very helpful and it was great to be able to wake up each morning, make coffee and have breakfast, watch a little news and weather, then head out for the day. The decor was very welcoming, each room had its own thermostat, and the beds were also very comfortable after long days of exploring Seattle! Everything was clean and seemed like new. The patio and backyard were nice, too, especially since we both like bird watching. We opted not to rent a car for the week and took the bus when we weren't able to get a ride from those we were visiting. It is nearby several bus lines which were simple enough to anyone used to bus travel. (We weren't, but we figured it out eventually, thanks to smart phones!) Overall it was a great place to stay and I'll certainly choose it again if I get the chance!

Incredible Find

My husband and I found the perfect location for our stay in Seattle. Rachel and John are excellent hosts who are very gracious and accommodating and welcome you into the most inviting environment anyone could ask for, which included a nice surprise of treats in a welcome basket. The kitchen provides extensive utensils, pots and pans plus a lot more you could want or need to prepare and cook a meal and sit at the table or enjoy breakfast at the counter with coffee or tea which are provided. It’s apparent that a lot of care and attention has been given to making your stay very homey with being exceptionally clean as well as having comfortable furnishings and lovely decor. The bedroom we used was very comfortable and the sheets and blankets are luxurious. The beautiful bathroom has all the necessities you need including a fabulous shower with unbelievably sumptuous towels. Another thoughtful provision they provide is a special parking area which is devoted to their guests exclusively. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We stay with John and Rachel about three times a year, visiting our family who live nearby, and it's always like coming home. They go out of their way to create a welcoming, comfortable environment, and they are constantly looking for ways to upgrade the visitors' experience. The neighborhood is lush, quiet and lovely, and their downstairs lair suits our needs to perfection.

Back in Comfort

As always, John and Rachel made us feel welcome and cared for during what is probably our tenth stay with them. The property is perfect for our needs, as we visit family who live less than a mile away, and it's come to feel almost like a second home. They are generous, warm-hearted, and quick to address any minor issue that might arise. We'll be back!

Awesome gem!

My 87 year old mother and I (almost 60) stayed for 4 nights to visit my daughter and son-in-law. Great renovated basement space. ALL the amenities with great beds/linens, full kitchen, awesome water pressure for the shower (no tub which made shower access much better for my mom), and a cozy family room area. The owners are upstairs but you would hardly know. Private access. The only thing is the outside stairs which have a great motion light and hand rail. We would definitely stay here the next time we visit Seattle.

Delightful spot

I was attending a backyard wedding in Seattle and stayed at this property with my adult son. It was perfect. The location was exactly where we needed to stay to be close to local family. Everything was clean, the owners lived upstairs and were willing to help with anything. The unit is well-equipped, although we didn’t do any cooking. The checkout process was simple. I would definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

Lovely Place to Stay!

Stayed here while moved my daughter into UW. It was a short drive to campus and to surrounding shopping. It was lovely and a relaxing spot during a hectic time. The hosts were really nice as well. Would stay here again!

We have lived in beautiful Victory Heights (aka Maple Leaf) for 30+ years. We raised our daughter here, and love sharing our neighborhood with our granddaughters when they visit.

Why they chose this property

Free WiFi. We are located in a green belt just above Thornton Creek. From the back of our home, which is the entrance to the apartment, you would never know you are in the middle of a busy city. If you are a birder, this is the place for you. From woodpeckers and owls to hummingbirds and finches, we have birds, birds, birds!

What makes this property unique

There is a patio outside the apartment. We are one block from public transportation and just minutes from the University of Washington. The unit is newly remodeled and beautiful.
