Taunton Bay Cottage - Affordable Oceanfront - Perfect for couples getaway!
Where else can you wake up to a view like this and smell the salty ocean breeze? This 1BR 1BA cottage overlooks Taunton Bay and has a beautiful back deck where you can sit and sip your coffee; all the while watching the local lobstermen at work hauling their traps.
Another great feature is the easy access to Route 1 where you are just 22 miles from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, 21 miles from Schoodic Point, and 10 miles from Ellsworth. Tidal Falls is just 2 miles away and Gordon’s Wharf less than .5 mile away.
There may be some noise from the road, but it definitely dies down after everyone gets home from work. With new windows installed the noise is decreased.
