Perfect lake cabin getaway

Loved the cabin and the location was breathtaking. The owner provides paddle boards, kayak and all the essentials you need. 10/10 will definitely be booking again. It rained the whole stay and it was still the most peacful and relaxing place I have stayed at in a long time! Cant wait to try it again soon in some dry weather.

Beautiful…and we were not hardy enough.

This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT.

A dream vacation

I absolutely love staying here! A beautiful view, so peaceful with the lake every morning. It was a save for me with the microwave and stove so I can cook dinner for myself since I didn’t want to rely on the fire for food. A dream solo vacation with just me a dog. Highly recommend!

Fabulous private getaway!!

A classic "upta camp" Maine experience. Private location, but a quick trip to eat out or visit coastal areas. Our dogs had a blast being off leash, swimming, running and playing. If you enjoy camping, you’ll love this. Bring all your supplies and enjoy some peace and quiet! We will definitely book again!

Great cabin

It's more than one step above camping with the electricity, refrigerator and stove and couch. We were only there a couple nights but got to put the canoe in the lake and take a trip to Schoodic Point. This was my second time staying here and would love to come back again.

Lovely Cabin

Great time exploring the Schoodic Peninsula and Acadia National Park. The views of the pond and the privacy of the cabin make it such a fun vacation. Our dog Balto LOVES to swim and goes crazy when we’ve come here. Such a beautiful location and well maintained cabin

Perfect Maine Getaway

Great solo trip option and completely as advertised. Nice spot for getting to the National Park especially the less explored Schoodic Peninsula but not a taxing drive to Mount Desert Island either. Great small town with several eating options along the main road. Cabin was nice for charging devices and keeping drinks cold and refreezing ice packs. Even the portapotty was clean! Beautiful scenery right on the water, nobody out in the bay when I used the kayak. Would highly recommend this spot if you're looking to disappear and recharge!

Peaceful and Rustic

The setting is beautiful, quiet and remote - near Acadia but far from crowds. The cabin is clean and well stocked with everything described in the listing and additional useful items for staying at the property. I would definitely stay here again.

Glamping with an awesome view!

The cabin was great! It was a little further from Acadia than we thought, but worked out fine for our short stay. We knew trash removal was our responsibility but struggled to find somewhere to take it. A local told us about stickers and that trash day was Thursday. Great getaway for a rustic experience. Basic and met our needs. We would come back again.

Hidden little piece of paradise

Rustic, quaint little cabin on a beautiful lake with plenty of privacy. No water / indoor plumbing, but scenery and solitude make up for it.
