Enjoy your own private shoreline, sweeping ocean views, and the sight of lobster boats passing by. Experience Acadia-like scenery without the crowds — perfect for relaxing, remote work, hiking, reading, or simply unplugging. Quiet, secluded, and surrounded by nature, this is an authentic Maine retreat for couples, families, or anyone seeking a slower pace by the sea.



Please note that our property has private, fantastic oceanfront shoreline that is not fenced. Guests are accessing the shoreline at their own risk. Sometimes Maine weather can be exciting and the ocean can be rough and other times it can be like a bath tub! Guests must use common sense at the waterfront and are responsible for their own actions.

This is a beautiful cottage with gorgeous views! My husband and I spent a week here and loved every minute of our time! The home was clean and nicely set up. With a lovely drive to Bar Harbor when we wanted to visit. One of our favorite places to stop was Chipmans wharf for lobster rolls and fresh lobsters. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and to hope to return!A few recommendations it would be nice to have a TV in order to stream a movie if desired as well as be able to use the fireplace. All around we give this property a five star rating.!!!!

This house is perfect for those who appreciate skillful design and detailing, subtle colors, high quality materials, fixtures and appliances, excellent craftsmanship, lots of natural light from ample windows, and an open, spacious, modern feel. Very nice wood floors throughout. The kitchen is huge and downright gorgeous, with granite countertops in a "u" configuration; the kitchen window sills even feature the same granite. The kitchen is fully supplied with anything you could possibly need, and there are books and games for families. There is a beautiful stretch of rocky coastline to enjoy and no noise from neighbors (since there aren't any). This place will suit those who seek serenity and privacy, rather than noise and hustle-bustle. Our only regret is not having time to stay longer.

Beautiful property, clean house, very nice hosts. There is WiFi, but no TV. I seeing missed that on the booking. We did not have access to the washer/dryer, but everything else was great! Thank you
