A Quaint Rustic Bungalow Overlooking The Fishing Village of Corea Harbor

Rustic meets modern convenience in this rustic 100+ year old, one bedroom, oceanfront bungalow. It overlooks picturesque Corea Harbor, in Corea Maine, a small fishing village located in Gouldsboro. You can watch local lobsterman leave the harbor, haul their traps and sell their catch at the end of their day.

There is a screened in front porch that leads into a small kitchen, a small bathroom and a small living area. Upstairs has a queen bed and a full size bed.

Bridges Bungalow includes a Full sized refrigerator, a gas cook stove with oven, a microwave, a coffee pot, linens, towels, dishes, utensils, wi-fi, a smart tv with netflix, an outdoor propane grill and a fire pit for evening fires.

You can buy fresh, local lobster 1/2 mile away at Corea Lobster Co-Op or you can enjoy Lunch on the Wharf at Corea Wharf Gallery and Grill also 1/2 mile away. Some other local dining options are ‘The Pickled Wrinkle’ in Birch Harbor and ‘Salt Box’ located in Winter Harbor.

It is only about 10 minutes from Winter Harbor where you can enjoy the Schoodic Point section of Acadia National Park or take the Ferry for a day trip to Bar Harbor.

Local activities include hiking, biking, fishing, boating and kayaking. There is also a golf course in Winter Harbor and Sorrento.

This place is a cozy, rustic little retreat where you can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and enjoy the life of a little fishing village in Corea.

Corea Harbor is a great little location on the Schoodic Peninsula and the bungalow has a front seat to the action. We loved watching the boats come and go, the Catch Your Own Lobster cruise and local Pickled Wrinkle restaurant. The loft bay windows are awesome for morning coffee!

Mrs. Pam’s cottage was absolutely perfect ! We got exactly what we hoped for in a quaint cottage on a quiet fishing harbor ! Absolutely stunning views from the main level of the house and the upstairs bedroom !

Cute bungalow on active lobster harbor. The bungalow was comfortable and inviting and had all of the necessary amenities! The bed was so comfortable and the TV and couch were so nice to come home to after a day of exploring and hiking! We loved sitting on the screened in porch and exploring down by the water and even watching to lobster boats go out for the day!

Lunch on the wharf- just a few minute walk down the road!

The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean, very organized and just right for two people.The beds were heavenly , so comfortable ,we hated to get out of them in the am but didn’t want to miss watching the boats going off to catch lobster.It was the most peaceful and serene place we have ever visited. We spent most of our time enjoying the view from the screened porch.

Great little place to stay 12/10 recommend. Highly recommend the ferry to Bar Harbor made getting to Acadia much simpler. Perfect little fishing village to overlook at the end of the day.

Sweet Bungalow - coastal views and peaceful spot to watch the boats. The bungalow offered an adorable beach/lobster theme home away from home. The hostess was amazing and communicated everything we needed. Would love to come back.

Perfectly quiet

If you're like us and like to vacation without staying in the central hub of tourists this is absolutely the place for you. This small cottage directly on the harbor is a perfect spot for anyone who wants a quiet place to relax at the end of the day with gorgeous a view and the unique opportunity to watch fishermen leaving for a days work (they're so quiet we almost missed seeing them leave!!)Pam is an excellent host and her cottage is well stocked with anything you'd need during your stay. Our dog absolutely loved the location with all the seagulls, geese and water to keep her entertained.

We loved every minute at the bungalow! Every detail was well thought out, making it the perfect place to stay. What a prime location with an incredible front row view of the harbor. Truly a hidden gem where we could relax and our dog was just as welcome as we were. Thank you, Pam!

Perfect getaway!

The perfect place to stay. The view was amazing! And the house is exactly as described! It was perfect for me and my fiancé to get away for a few days! Loved the skylight in the bedroom and being able to watch the harbor from the bed

A taste of real Maine

My husband and I and our two shelties loved every minute of our peaceful stay. We loved watching boats coming in and out. The sunsets were gorgeous. The dogs loved the screened-in porch. We ate almost every day at Lunch on the Wharf. We hope to stay here again! Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Amazing view right on the water

It was more beautiful view than pictures show. So close to the water! Pamela was prompt in answering any questions. We even were able to stay longer! Totally recommend and hope to return there one day!

Best little cottage

Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and small dog. It was perfect. Found so much sea glass on the little beach right in front of the cottage. The cottage was small but perfect. We hope to come back in the fall sometime.

Great stay We loved your home...SO CLEAN. My7 only problem was the stairs With 3 total joints

SO CLEAN I( had difficulty with the stairs so we slept down stairs Great view Went out dinner for 62 anniversary and I told the waitress Someone next to us PAID FOR OUR BILL!!! The entire stay was GREAT!!

Cute cottage on the bay

Perfect location for our stay around the Acadia area. Had the essence of Maine with a little cottage next to a fishing bay and a lobster restaurant just down the street. A couple small issues, the mattress was really well used and a bit hard to sleep on and the shower is super tight / small to get into. Otherwise though for a stay in the area, it was a nice place.

A Great Getaway

The cottage was in great condition and everything was clean. The upstairs bedroom was beautiful and looked out over the harbor. The location is nice, as you’re close to Winter Harbor and the Schoodic part of Acadia. Much less crowded, but still drivable to Bar Harbor. We loved our stay here! The only thing of note was the water - it had an odor to it. We bought bottled water and used that.

Cute cottage in timeless setting

This cottage is in such a pretty setting in a working harbor. The weather was rainy and cold, but we were warm and cozy, enjoying the views from the comfortable sitting area in the large bedroom upstairs. We really appreciated the fire pit & stocked kitchen with everything that you would need to prepare dinner. It was one of the most relaxing weekends that we have had in a long time. It’s a beautiful area and Pam’s attention to detail made it so easy.
