I have stayed in this cottage 3 times, all just by myself, even though it can comfortably accommodate 3 people. It's in Maushop Village, which is a premier location itself, and has fabulous furnishings. I was particularly enchanted by the sleeping porch, where I sat many afternoons, writing in my journal.
Location was excellent! Walk to beach. Good towels and chairs for beach. Having an umbrella would be nice.Figuring out the TV was brutal! Need instructions on using. Had trouble finding stations. Bathroom was really tiny. Not enough counter space/storage for stuff.Overall, we had a nice stay!
The place was clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our stay. We had a problem with keeping the bedroom cool and had to run all the fans to get cool air to back room.
Better than advertised. The unit itself was a 10/10. We loved it. Maushop Village is so beautiful and a super short walk to the Poppy marketplace. Incredibly peaceful and quiet. LOVED IT.
The cottage was clean, well-located and perfectly sized for two people. Arriving in the off-season, we were lucky to have a spot of fantastic weather and enjoyed walking on the largely empty beach.
The cottage was well-equipped and we really didn’t want for anything. The parking space at the cottage was a little tight but there were plenty of guest spaces nearby so we simply grabbed one of those.
We enjoyed our stay in Mashpee and would absolutely stay here again.
The accommodations were lovely for two people. We had unseasonably beautiful weather which made our stay delightful. The only negative was the gas grill was not clean enough for use. Also we did not have lightbulbs to replace lighting that was out in several lamps. We would definitely stay in the future.
We loved our stay at this cottage. It's located in a beautiful area with very easy access to the beach. The property was spotless! The furnishings are well thought out for that perfect beach vibe with some nice extras like a washer and dryer. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others looking for the perfect escape to the Cape.
The neighborhood was beautiful, quiet, and neighbors are friendly. They had a little community shopping area with small local restaurants that you can walk to from the cottage. Also, the cottage was steps away from beach access. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I really enjoyed our short stay there. Would definitely recommend.
This cottage was absolutely delightful! The location, the interior and exterior design, the beach, the ambiance…all were amazing. We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay! It’s the perfect cozy space for a few days on the Cape.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
The community is wonderful and we would def return, just not to a property owned by this owner. The property itself was nice and well located, with an easy walk to the beach and to the marketplace. The owner/manager was not available - he did not provide any information in advance (like you need to keep the visitor tag in your car and you need to place a flag by your seat on the the beach). When we got there, the front. door lock worked but just once. We could never use the front door again. We were given a code for a lockbox for the back door but the lock box was no where to be found. The property manager did not reply to my emails so we had to leave the property unlocked while we were away. Also, the coffee maker did not work and again, no reply from the property manager.
Easy and comfortable stay at this cottage. We had no issue finding it, and we enjoyed the simple comforts it offered. Since it was off season, we had to go back into town to even get coffee — but the weather was lovely and I then sat and sipped that coffee happily in the sun room. Water pressure was great, heat worked great, and the house got plenty of light.Honestly, our only concern/discomfort was that the owner stopped by with no notice on one of the days and attempted to get into the property. He seemed surprised to see us (“oh, you’re still here, we thought you already left.”) which was confusing because we weren’t scheduled to check out until the following day. We were already planning on checking out a day early to beat traffic and that solidified our decision.
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and this place was absolutely perfect for us.. Beautiful home, just like the pictures and the grounds were straight out of a movie scene. Will definitely stay here again!
Perfectly cozy beach cottage, just the right size for two people, with a short walk to a private beach. (Love Maushop Village!) Very clean and well kept, and the check in/check out process was very simple.
The cottage is very cute and comfortable. We love the area so much. The beach is so close and the Popponesset Marketplace has great restaurants, live music and a general store . Hardly need a car. The cottage was clean and well equipped and the neighborhood adorable. Would go back again.
We stayed in this cute cottage over the Fourth of July. It’s a perfect location a block from the beach and a short walk to the country club amenities (coffee shop, market, restaurants, bar, mini golf). Owner made everything super easy - checkin/out, parking, trips to the beach (beach towels, chairs, and umbrella for guest use made the beach an even better experience). Cottage is super clean and well decorated. Main room with Queen bed plus a twin in a room connected to the living area. AC kept the whole place cool, kitchen has everything you need for BBQing and cooking. Location in New Seabury is fantastic. The place was even better than we were hoping for. Can’t recommend this more for a relaxing Cape Cod getaway!
