Sunny and bright Maushop Village townhome, located steps from the beach. Ideal for 4 adults with 2 bedrooms and a full bath upstairs and central A/C. Downstairs there is a 1/2 bath, a spacious living room, kitchen and dining area. There is a washer & dryer in the unit. Every amenity and necessity that you could need is provided. The furnishings and decor are Cape Cod coastal casual.

One of the shortest walks to the Maushop beach stairs. This unit has an updated kitchen and baths. Authentic Cape Cod details such as wide pine flooring, exposed beams, shiplap, brick courtyards, and white picket fences that make it perfectly charming. The entire neighborhood is dotted with abundant blooming hydrangeas, climbing roses and sweet honeysuckle vines. There are two 2 brick patio areas and a balcony deck that faces the ocean views for your enjoyment. Sip a morning coffee on the patio while you marvel at the stunning sunrise or enjoy an evening on the balcony under the light of a full moon. Summer breezes off of the ocean are simply heavenly. We had a lovely week at this location. The pictures are accurate and while it may not be as big as it looks, it still had plenty of room for 4 of us. The ocean view from the Main bedroom was beautiful. The AC worked well and when the outside temp allowed, we opened the doors for a fantastic breeze to flow through the house. The breeze and the sounds of the surf were very enjoyable. This property is also in a resort area, only a quarter mile walk to the "Marketplace" where you can find quaint shopping, convenience store, restaurants, bars, ice cream and mini golf. We enjoyed them all! The only thing to keep in mind is the check out process. You need to wash, dry, fold and return any used towels before you check out at 10AM. Considering it takes a few hours to do all that, you may need to bring your own towels to use for showers or whatever on the morning of checkout. This inconvenience is the reason we didn't give it 5 stars. Also, if you were contacts and have difficulty seeing close up, be very careful of the sliding screen doors. My husband walked through one because he didn't realize someone closed it as he was bringing things in and out to the car at checkout. We paid for it to be fixed. All in all, we loved our week and do recommend this beautiful place!

Thank you, Christine! The towel process is posted with the 3 different options. We agree it takes time that is why we also send check out reminders the day before. The bigger homes with 8-10 people can have 40 towels. That is way people can rent towels, bring their own or use the owners' towels but return them as they found them.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a lovely property, conveniently located a short walk to the beach, local quaint marketplace, and restaurants. There had been some storms recently, so it's unclear if the beach would have been sandier. Bring your water shoes just in case it's still rocky.As far as the property itself, it was nicely appointed especially in the kitchen. There is handsoap in each bathroom, and dish detergent available for hand washing, and dishwasher. However, be sure to bring your own body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The reason this review is not a 5 star is entirely based on it's check out process. When the check out is 10am, it seems odd that we were required to wash, dry and fold all the used towels. You also need to put them back where they were at arrival. This is the first property where this was required. There is a charge if you prefer not to do this, but it seems unnecessary. Bring your own towels to use on the last day. Management was responsive to questions regarding the property and that was helpful.Go to the Marketplace nearby, just a 1/4 mi walk through the back walking trail. We enjoyed all the available restaurants, and ice cream!This is a lovely area and I enjoyed coming back to experience this part of the Cape again. We really did enjoy it, the neighborhood and surroundings. We'd recommend it, but feel the checkout is something that may put some people off if not prepared. Just go, ready and enjoy!

Perfect Family Getaway Near the Beach

We had a wonderful stay! This home was a perfect fit for our family with two young boys. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need. While you really can't go wrong with how close any cottage in Maushop is to the beach, this one is basically knocking on the ocean’s door - which was a huge bonus for us. We appreciated how family-friendly and well-stocked everything was as well. We’d definitely love to return!

Awesome beach-front cottage!

The place was perfect for our family of 4! All the amenities we needed, right on beach, and very comfortable for a relaxing stay. We found ourselves driving over to Falmouth quite often for restaurants, shopping, and fun. Highly recommend!

Lovely little home away from home

More and more we value the feeling of a home away from home, rather than a hotel. This property was exactly that, our family was immediately comfortable and had everything we need at our fingertips. Beautiful, cozy and close to so many wonderful things, we can't wait to come back during the proper summer season.

Great week in Maushop Village. This is the fourth different unit we’ve stayed in, and definitely the best location so far. Right across from the stairs to the beach, and a 2 min walk with the wagon down the path to the beach. The grassy area next door was also great for kids to play, and the road loop around the unit is quiet enough for bikes and scooters. The unit was clean and quiet, and worked well for two adults and two kids. Thanks for the 2025 Maushop beach memories!
