Vienna's historical city center and most famous sights are reachable by foot.
The flat is located in the 4th district near the opera. This area is absolutely safe and famous for many contemporary art galleries. Lots of cafes and restaurants are in this area. Supermarkets just around the corner.

Excellent public transport connection: Station "Karlsplatz" with underground line U1, U2 and U4 is only 4 minutes walk away.
With line U1 you just stop to "Stephansplatz" where you find the famous St. Stephans Cathedral and the center of the old town. With line U4 you get directly to "Schönbrunn" or to "Landstrasse" where you can change to all trains going to the airport.
