5 Minute Walk to Old Town - Modern Retro Retreat

We made the retro retreat our second home because of LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. We love Scottsdale for so many reasons & are located a few min walk from all our favorite hot spots. Not to mention this allows us to be close to some of our favorite golf courses & minutes from the entertainment district. Retro retreat has awesome mattresses, plenty of board games & books, a pool, dedicated workspace, fast WIFI, & a fully stocked kitchen for you to enjoy during your stay.

Great Stay

I went to stay here to spend time in Old Town and to watch some college basketball- The place was clean, quiet, and the communication was excellent. Highly recommended.

The communication for arrival was basically nonexistent. I had to contact VRBO to contact the host. I have rented a lot of VRBOs over the years and I normally hear from the host as soon as I reserve. I always receive a message a few days ahead of the stay with arrival information and always get entry instructions the day before or early on the day of arrival. So that set the tone for the entire stay. I assume this host is inexperienced. The unit is dingy and not kept in the best condition. There is lots of dirt on the walls where the A/C blows air on them. This is because the filter is absolutely filthy. We hope we don’t get sick from this experience and stayed out of the unit as much as possible. It is just not a relaxing place to stay. There is a lot of noise from the upstairs and a lot of building noise that is unexplainable. I would not waste time on this unit as there is much better inventory in old town Scottsdale.
