Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
If you use the canoes, kayaks, paddle boat please turn upside down where you got them so they do not fill with water when it rains
Trash day is early Monday so please put trash cans at end of driveway near mailboxes. Do not put at the end of the circle dr.
Put remote for the deck lights back in the basket on the kitchen counter
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please take shoes off when in the house. No Smoking or Vaping Wash Dishes Put trash at curb on Thursday, Fri is pick up early No Illegal activity
2 ponds- please keep constant watch on young children & non swimmers as there is no life guards on duty. Please respect neighbors- quiet time 10pm
Please stay out of the cow pen. There is also a chicken pen, gate must remain shut. Dog's name is Carmel. There are a few outdoor cats as well.

We arrived a little ahead of check in time and Bruce was very accommodating to allow us to get settled in. There was plenty of room for all of the children and grandchildren to spread out and enjoy time spent together. The kitchen layout was perfect for serving the crew at each meal. Had a great time with the fishing, swimming, and kayaking.

We had a wonderful stay for our little family gathering. It was a beautiful home with plenty of room both indoor and out. My children, grandchildren, and myself really enjoy the outdoors. So this place was right up our alley. A couple of the kayaks had holes. And the pedal boat was out of commission, but those kind of things are expected after winter, I suppose. It would have been even better if the jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom or the hot tub outside were working.But honestly, we had a great weekend.And I think all of us would agree.We wish we could have stayed longer!

Excellent Family Experience

We found the facilities clean and comfortable. A great time for playing whiffle ball, kayaked in pond, visited many sights in the area. We had planned for this for over a year, it didn’t disappoint. We had excellent communications with our host who accommodated some of our special requests. The property was very nice and we enjoyed the big kitchen and beautiful deck. The WiFi speed could benefit from a booster, as streaming hiccuped and working from the home wasn’t easy to do. However, that did not detract from our stay!

What a great house! This house had enough rooms to fit us all! A huge kitchen for family dinners, and the star of the show—the deck!! Amazing views of the pond where the kids enjoyed fishing. Everyone took advantage of the long driveways for walks and bike rides. Bruce was super attentive and even brought us a new gas tank for the grill when we discovered one was low. We would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Perfect house for our large group

This house fit our group of 21 perfectly. Lots of great patio space to enjoy time outside and close enough to downtown to enjoy all the bars and restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again.

City Escape Review

The location was perfect distance from the city, on beautiful land with gorgeous views. Quiet and secluded with everything you need to escape the city and reset but close enough to run into town to grab what you need. Me and my family were well supported in this space.

Married 40 years, Father of 7 children, 4 boys and 3 girls. Love to spend time with my wife and family, playing games, bowling, shooting, camping, canoeing, traveling, cruise ship adventures, road trips, fishing, exploring, going to church together, pushing my grandkids on my son's 40' rope swing and reading when I'm too tired from all the other activities.

Why they chose this property

We spent 16 years living and loving on this property and made so many great memories here that my oldest grandson cried when he heard that we purchased a house within walking distance to his house. He grew up doing all kinds of fun things on the Ranch. Feeding the chickens, collecting eggs, jumping on hay bales with his siblings, friends and cousins, watering the cows, shooting guns, archery, fishing, canoeing and kayaking in the pond, driving the 4 wheelers, checking out the greenhouse to see what new things are growing, attending many family gatherings for Christmas, hunting for Easter eggs, birthday celebrations, fireworks for New Years and the 4th of July and number of other great memories that I'm sure he remembers and I have forgotten. He thought all this and more would be gone forever and it saddened him deeply to the point he could not even speak after we broke the good news to him and his family that we had purchased a home in town within walking distance from his house. I asked his mom later that day to know what was wrong with him and why he would not speak. She said he was super sad that the ranch would likely be sold so he went upstairs to his bedroom and cried for 30 minutes. Later, I let him know that we found a way to keep the family ranch and would still be able to enjoy it at various times of the year while allowing other people to make some happy memories here as well.

Families and friends are great and the relationships we have and the good feelings and memories are a few of the things we treasure and can always keep with us.

Private, Beautiful, Spacious Home on 22 rolling acres, overlooking a nice pond where we get gorgeous views from the kitchen window and dinning room table. It's great to see ducks, geese, Blue Heron's and other wildlife enjoying the water.
