With the Navy Point public boat ramp a block away that connects to the Gulf in minutes, the house is well situated for boaters. The scenic 2.8 mile Bayou Grand waterfront walking park nearby with sprawling live oak trees provides alternative vistas. Bayou Grand itself is great for kayaking, and it's gentle waters and small beaches scattered along the walking trail are great for kids. The house is a short drive from Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key for sun worshipers. The fabled Blue Angles are stationed nearby and practice overhead weekly if they're in town (see schedule). The Naval Air Museum on the grounds of the nearby Naval Air Station is a sure draw. Downtown Pensacola night life is a short drive or Uber away. Restaurants, groceries and more are handy. Experience what Florida has to offer!

Great house, perfect place for you to stay while fishing. Boat ramp very close. Only complaint was the trash can was full of maggots and stunk bad, so bad we had to move it to the edge of the property. Other the that we would stay there again!
We loved our stay and it was very cozy and confortable! The only thing was that it needs a little more effort on the cleaning side but overall we loved the location of the house since it was near the Navy Base !
Check in process was easy. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Having 3 showers in the house helped us get going and out of the house faster. The house was in nice quiet neighborhood and you never heard any of the neighbors which was nice! Having a washer and dryer for laundry was also nice and the kitchen had lots of supplies and everything you need. We would definitely stay again.
Easy quick trips with family to NAS and several beaches.
This property stay was very comfortable and convenient. All beds were comfortable. Kitchenware plentiful. FYI Take additional personal towels from home. The property does need a guide book in a convenient area for guests . WiFi password, check in /check out procedures, Q/As. I’m sure there was a guide book in the property at one time.
Rooms need liquid refills for hand soaps. Big thank you for supplying the laundry detergent for guests.
Cupboards are well stocked. FYI : Leave supplies and pass onto others!
We stayed for 9 days. There was 7 of us ages 63 to 7 (kids out numbered adults) and we had plenty of space. Really surprised me because it doesn't really look that big when you pull up but my family fell in love with the place. We watched the Blue Angels practice twice. We swam and walked the trails by the lake which is like a 5 min walk away from the house. The house it's self was fully stocked with everything you need. It was clean and cozy. Even though it's in a neighborhood it doesn't really feel like you have neighbors. There wasn't really anybody ever walking by or driving by. Actually pretty quiet the whole time. Very peaceful.
Exactly how it was described on the site. Great location and perfect for all our need to beach and downtown area. Would have liked to use the barbecue but it was out of gas and wasn't cleaned from previous use other than that I would definitely stay here again. Great value for everything.
This home away from home was well maintained, with plenty of room for a family. We loved the updated kitchen and bathrooms. The four bedrooms and living area gave us ample room for our family to relax. The neighborhood is quite and we enjoyed the walking trail next to the cove that was around the corner. This property is a great value! Thanks for sharing your home with us.
Thank you! This house is a perfect stay for a family vacation and help you save $$$
Really quiet and nice neighborhood, and while driving to the pensacola beach - you can admire the downtown areas while driving by. And be able to visit nice restaurants and stores!
House is in a very quiet neighborhood you would think no one is around you. Bedrooms and bathrooms plenty no waiting for a shower after beach visit. Fully stocked kitchen and grill outside. TV set up with air cast for a family movie and Wi-Fi works great. Well furnished with a large dining table for eating a cooked meal or stack ur souvenirs on for putting away later. A welcoming home. Excellent prompt response from owner (nothing wrong, a few questions).
Listing inaccurate with unprofessional property owners
Air conditioning did not work for the entire stay from June 2nd to June 12th but for only 12 hours before check out. We had to run to the nearest store that was open when we arrived which was 30 minutes away to spend over $150 on fans to put into the rooms to try cooling the house down. My spouse had hto work on the air conditioning system cleaning and replacing their filters because they were filthy. The owners kept telling us there wasn’t anything they could really do about it. We were incredibly miserable with the house being 78-83 degrees our entire stay. We had a 12 month old baby that became sick from the heat. Along with a pregnant woman that was unable to leave the house the entire trip due to severe swelling from the heat making it impossible for her to even walk. The heat was also causing her to be ill vomiting along with having black outs on top of the swelling. On top of the air conditioning not working for us both of the refrigerators and freezers were not working properly in order to keep anything cold for us. The house appeared to be clean at first glance but was not when you actually looked closer. The floors were dirty especially around the beds and underneath any furniture to the point that we had to clean before the kids got down to play. All the amenities listed for the property were not accurate. All of the activities were 30 minutes away or longer. It says it is a beachfront property which is not true at all.

I grew up on the Gulf, and I love Pensacola. I discovered Navy Paint on one of my first trips there, and fell in love with the neighborhood with its wonderful waterfront park. Close to the beaches without all the people.
Why they chose this property
We like the area. Sure, it's not Pensacola Beach, but it's so well located for so much that we don't really go to the beach much anymore. Try antiquing on US 98 (go right at the Y just after Sonny's BBQ). Walk the park. Fish off the Sunset bridge. Put your boat in at the ramp. Enjoy all the restaurants on Navy Blvd. Or stock up on groceries a few blocks away at Greer's and cook at the house. Perdido key is about 15 or 20 minutes away, and Pensacola Beach is about the same, so that's an option too!
What makes this property unique
During winter, the Blue Angles practice literally right overhead most Thursdays. It can be loud for a few minutes, but go out back and take in a show!
