FALL 2022 - NEW FURNISHINGS AND FRESHLY PAINTED!
With a balcony accessible by the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Shorewood 137 enjoy a partial view of the Atlantic Ocean as well as the courtyard & Shorewood pool area. After hours in the surf, vacationers return from the ocean via Shorewood's beach walkway and then dip into the freshwater swimming pool or a seasonally heated spa. Pool is Heated March 1 - April 30 and Oct 1 - November 30. Dates could vary slightly.
Toddlers have a separate wading pool. Shorewood is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Shorewood is two blocks from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. Also nearby is the new Low Country Celebration Park. King bed in the master plus 2 Queens in BR 2. Your Shorewood vacation awaits!

First time visitors to HHI

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with our stay in this unit and the location was ideal for us. My suggestions for improvement are: an updated couch, this one was worn; the master bathroom shower head was missing the center piece and the sink needs to caulked; the master bedroom linens need to be updated; cleanliness was generally good but details like baseboards need attention. All that being said, we plan to return to HHI and would be happy to stay here again!

The view from the balcony is gorgeous and we especially loved the higher chairs on the balcony. The location is the best on the island, oceanfront, zero entry pool, a short walk to coligny, Lowcountry celebration park, the trolley stop, splash park, and Sedgwick’s market stand is right across the street with fresh veggies and peaches and seafood. Seashore vacation staff is always friendly and very easy to communicate with. The only thing I would recommend changing is the mattress in the main bedroom. It is sunken in the middle.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was furnished nicely, but I was not happy with the cleanliness of it. There was sand and hairs in the dresser drawers. The floors APPEARED clean, but when I took a wet washcloth to it, dirt was on the cloth. There were stains on most of the towels. The cleanliness situation wasn't bad enough for me to go through the hassle of getting another place, but I wouldn't visit here again unless I knew they had a better cleaning crew. I was pretty disappointed, especially when you consider what I paid per night. All that being said, the location is excellent! Convenient to everything!! The pool and hot tub was nice and well maintained. The common grounds were maintained nicely as well.

Great trip to HHI

Worst Rental We Ever Stayed In

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this property at the last minute due to having to change the dates of our vacation. The rental company had just taken on this property we were told. The place was filthy. Walls were marked terribly. Stains were on the curtains and bedding. Dirty sponges were left on the sink. Washer and dryer were filthy and had an odor. Towels were stained. Floor had a film all over it. The furniture was broken down and uncomfortable. It ruined our week. I spoke to management about the condition of the place and all they said was, "we just took this property over." I understand that was the case, but a walk-through should have been done, and management should have come to look at it when we complained. The unit has a lot of potential. It has good bones, it just needs a lot of work. We have rented from this property management company for over 10 years, and we have never been disappointed with our rental until now.

Reviewer Comments: I’ll start with the positives - awesome location, beach front, easy walk to Coligny restaurants and shopping, secure with keypad and gates for entrances to complex, beach, and pool. Great selection of games. Big beautiful tv. Negatives: the unit is in dire need of a deep clean. All the air return and vents were coated with dust. All the cabinets were very unorganized, and appear to have contain everyone’s leftovers. All our towels smelled like smoke and mold, so we had to wash them before using them. The floors are filthy - all our feet were black within minutes. Not so much crumbs and sand, but dirt. All the cookware sticks like crazy. Even with copious amounts of oil or butter. All the lightbulbs are mismatched. Some fluorescent, some day time, some soft white. They keypad lock on the unit’s door is REALLY finicky. It usually took 3-4 attempts for it to work properly.
