Beautiful setting with the river in the background. House was clean and very comfortable. The host provided many nice amenities for entertainment, including several games and toys for the kids.
Communication with our host was excellent. The home has all needed amenities. Our family had a very nice Thanksgiving there. We would stay there again.
Our extended family had a wonderful stay at this house. Plenty of room inside for us all to spread out, and to gather together in the open kitchen/family room area. The grandchildren (ages 4-13) thoroughly enjoyed the basement area, and outside activities on the large backyard and the basketball hoop. The entire house was clean and well equipped with everything that we needed during our stay.Family members also enjoyed spending time in nearby Beacon and Cold Spring. We enjoyed hanging out on the back patio, even though the pool wasn’t open yet for the season. The view of the Hudson River and sunsets were amazing.I would definitely rent this fabulous house again in the future!
The place was a fantastic getaway for a long weekend. All the amenities were great. Pool was vacuumed the day we arrived and was pristine throughout the stay. Very spacious and accommodating for our big group. Would absolutely stay again!
Melissa is the perfect host. The house is beautiful and has everything you could wish for. We stayed with family and friends for a wedding in Garrison and it was perfect
Our family of 12 stayed at Beacon house. Our only complaint was that our 3 days ended so quickly! We loved everything about this house. It was VERY clean and comfortable and well organized. Beds were comfy with nice linens. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare a nice meal with plenty of dishes, flatware & pots and pans. And the oven, OH MY, we wanted to take it home with us! The 2 dishwashers in the kitchen were very useful when cooking for 12. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out or to come together to play a game. We brought our own games but, there were plenty of games at the house. We especially loved that there were double letters for Banana Grams so a lot of us could play. They had Yahtzee (a personal favorite!), plenty of dice and other games too. Lots of books around the house to read as well. The pool was beautiful and clean. The area around the pool was very nicely maintained and manicured. There was a lot of seating options and big umbrellas to keep the sun at bay. The view around the house was amazing…Mountain View’s from the front, lake views from the back. The host supplied more than enough pool and bath towels. I could go on about this house but VRBO only allows 1500 characters. Stay here…you won’t regret it! Thanks for your hospitality Melissa. We hope to be back again soon!

We had such a great stay this weekend. The house was beautiful, pool was very refreshing with a beautiful view. We also checked out the town of Beacon, such a cute little town with stores and coffee shops! Highly recommend for a nice getaway!
Our group had a terrific long weekend in this beautiful home in Beacon. The house is very welcoming, with an open flow of comfortable living space. The swimming pool and sitting areas out back were very enjoyable and offered quiet privacy as well as a nice view of the Hudson River.
Everything we had hoped for. The village of Beacon is a gem, the surrounding area rich in culture. Activities galore! The house is attractive, comfortable, beautifully situated with a view of the Hudson and a very nice pool as a nearby ‘water feature’. We had a wonderful stay, and hope to have another one!

The house was the perfect getaway. Plenty of space; beautiful views; pool; clean; and within 10 minutes of everything you need. Would most certainly return.
This home was the perfect place for our reunion of college friends. The beds were comfy, the pool was relaxing, and there was plenty of space for us to sit around and catch up. It is close to town and local sites. The owner was available and easy to communicate with. Loved it!
Property was as described. Pool was lovely, gorgeous views & awesome sunsets. Bedrooms were great & everyone slept well. Kitchen had everything we needed. Two dishwashers were wonderful to have. Lots of games and books around. Melissa was very responsive & accommodating, a pleasure to deal with. Just a really nice place & we had a great time. Didn’t want to leave!
Our entire family loved this beautiful home and property. The layout, furnishings, views, pool, games, space and so many nice touches, all over-delivered. And the host, Melissa, was terrific; responsive and accommodating. Absolutely 5 Stars!
This house is as nice as it looks online. It was very clean. There was plenty of space for eight of us. It has a great dining room and kitchen. There is plenty of room to hang out together in the family room and living room. The pool overlooking the Hudson is great.

This is our second time staying at this property, and it was wonderful. The house is large and comfortable. It is very clean and well appointed. The host is extremely responsive.
The views of both the mountains and the Hudson River are gorgeous and the area is very quiet. A perfect place to relax and enjoy everything The Hudson Valley has to offer.
