Beautiful property and the proximity to the beach is terrific. Extremely well stocked kitchen, and we appreciated the prompt and clear communication from the host. However, the lack of linens and extensive check out list were a lot, especially given the price.

Thank you for your review and for your kind words about ZEN Coastal, its location, well-stocked kitchen, and my communication. I would like to clarify one point for future guests: Fresh bed linens and bath towels were provided for your stay at my expense and delivered to the property before your arrival. The primary bedroom offers six pillows with varying degrees of firmness, allowing guests to choose the ones that best suit their individual sleeping preferences. Four pillows have protective covers, while the remaining two have decorative shams. When you inquired about two additional pillowcases, I contacted the linen service and provided you with the option of ordering them, which you declined. You subsequently asked whether you could use a pillow with its protective cover, and I confirmed that you were welcome to do so. Regarding the checkout instructions, while the list may appear lengthy at first glance, the vast majority of items concern safety, security, and protecting the home's amenities rather than household chores. These include turning off appliances, securing doors and windows, and ensuring that outdoor equipment is properly shut down and secured. Having hosted vacation rentals since 2017, I have never previously received a complaint about these procedures. Nevertheless, I appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration. I am pleased you enjoyed the home and its proximity to the beach, and thank you for choosing ZEN Coastal.

Our family and friends had a fabulous end of summer stay at Anka's place. The house and all of the attention to detail truly made it a fantastic place to relax and enjoy all Lewes has to offer. The house has EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a weekly rental, if anything they are underselling how fabulous the Zen Coastal is! Would definitely come back and Anka is such a kind and excellent host. 10 out of 10 for a large family vacation in Lewes!

The Zen Coastal was better than we could ever imagine. Walking distance to the beach and walking distance to downtown. The house was perfect. It had everything we needed to keep everyone from 2-70 years old occupied and happy. I can’t say enough about what a great host Anka was. She kept in communication answering our questions prior to the trip and when we had a question at check in, she responded within minutes. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a vacation

The property is excellently situated, a short walk to the beach and a short walk to Lewes' "downtown". The house was beautiful. The general living space on the second floor was large and very conducive to the family gathering together, rather than segregating into separate areas. However, if preferred, there was a generous recreational/TV area on the ground floor. The property had an amazingly equipped kitchen. We like to cook and every appliance, tool, pot or bowl we needed was present. Very happy experience and the owner was incredibly pleasant to work with.

We loved our stay at Zen Coastal! The kitchen was hands down the best equipped I have ever been in. We wanted for nothing. The kids loved the popcorn machine in particular. The location is close to town and the beach. Each room was comfy and inviting. The only thing I wished I had figured out ahead of time was that both full baths were Jack and Jill. It was a little awkward for our party as we had some private individuals, but we made it work!The house really has everything you need for a great vacation…fun things to do at home and then a short walk to others. I would definitely stay again with the right combination of people

This was such a beautiful property. The home was immaculate with so many lovely details. There were many books, puzzles, games and even a popcorn maker for movie night. There were beach chairs and umbrellas in working order, some rentals say they supply them but they are often broken. We enjoyed the ping pong table and the amazing hot tub. Almost everything about this home showed great care. I loved the outdoor spaces, the many decks overlooking lush trees and plantings and the variety of birds they attracted. We could walk to the town shops and the walk to the beach was very short. Anka was exceptional at responding immediately to any questions. Could not recommend this rental more, was perfect for our family.

Great stay!

This property was beautiful! It was very modern and decorated impeccably. The kitchen was well equipped and we really enjoyed eating crabs on the bottom level. The owner was very responsive. We would highly recommend this property.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Zen Coastal to celebrate a milestone birthday, despite Hurricane Erin rolling through mid-week. The house is thoroughly charming--incredibly peaceful, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. We had a fabulous time at Zen Coastal in Lewes. The property is spacious and clean with all the amenities you would ever need - games for the kids, beach toys, a beach cart, beach chairs, ping pong, a stocked kitchen, and balconies galore for your own little private retreat. The house is just a quick walk to a non-busy part of the beach and an easy walk into town and restaurants. Anka was communicative and SO helpful during our stay. We had a fantastic time and hope to come again!

We had a great vacation at Zen Coastal!The house is really well done and is just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and (most importantly) the ice cream shop. There was lots of room for our whole family to stay, and plenty of outdoor space. We especially loved the ping-pong table (a vacation requirement for our family). And it was so nice that we could bring our small dog along. We left our Lily pad floating mat (with permission) for others to enjoy! We hope to be back to Lewes, and this house, again!

Fun Family Trip

We loved our week in Lewes. The location of the house was a short walk to the beach. We liked how private the house was even though there were houses on both sides. The house was very comfortable, accommodating, and spacious. We were very happy to have the use of beach chairs and beach wagon.

Great family getaway

Our family ranges from 10 years old to late 70's and we all had something to do in this lovely home. We enjoyed the beach and the local area. We are a family that loves to cook together and this house had the perfect kitchen for us; spacious and very well-equipped. Everyone was happy that we chose to stay at Zen Coastal.

Outstanding time at Zen Coastal

Zen Coastal is a wonderful property in a great location in Lewes. Easy walk to the beach and into town. The property was as advertised and had more than all we needed to have a great week. Anka, the host, was easy to communicate with and answered all questions promptly. The Ping Pong table was a big hit with our crew! Would definitely stay at Zen Coastal in the future.

Well Appointed

Excellent property in a truly convenient location to the beach, restaurants, and shops. What I enjoyed the most were the decks/porches. I had choices to be in or out of the sun or wind with comfortable seating options. Very peaceful environment.

We had an absolutely outstanding stay @ Zen Coastal... The house is beautifully appointed, very close to the beach, gourmet kitchen with everything we could possibly need to make meals for our large family. The Ping Pong downstairs got a vigorous workout, no blood was spilled but the rivalries were intense. Great host who took care of the one minor hiccup in a very timely manner. House has all the things you need to enjoy the beach and dog friendly makes this an absolute winner!
