Our adult family group stayed here to celebrate a birthday. The house had a wonderful long dining room table with more than enough chairs which enabled us to really enjoy all gathering for meals and games etc. The dining room is open to the kitchen with just a counter in between, which let us all be together even when food was being prepared. The kitchen appliances were very good. There were also multiple couches in the living room areas for comfortably gathering there . Parking is convenient and allows for Multiple vehicles. We didn’t use the separate game room but was nice to know it was there. Rene was very responsive throughout the rental Scheduling and actual stay. The location was great for traveling to the Bethel Woods Museum.
We were in the area for a family wedding, it was wonderful to all be together. The home was spotless with plenty of room for us to enjoy our time together.
We spent time visiting the area as well as Bethel Woods. The home was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Loved having both propane and charcoal grill’s available. Beds were comfy and home was clean and suited our needs.
Lovely place, we enjoyed the pool room!! The beds were so comfy! The only downside was the noise of the freeway behind the home. I’m a very light sleeper so that was the only issue for me, everyone else in our family slept great!! I would stay here again!
We celebrated 2023 New Year Eve here - altogether 4 families with kids. We had enough space for playing, dining, hanging out and sleeping. It is clean and stylish with cozy fireplace and a giant wooden table. The host kindly granted access to playroom, but we even didn't have time to use it. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a house both to stay inside the whole time or outside to get some fresh air in the countryside and enjoy picteresque views or go hiking. We had some questions to the host and she always reacted quickly. We didn't do skiing so can't provide any advise from this point of view.
The property was newly renovated - clean and spacious. The property could use a few fans to circulate the air in the summer. Also a few more hand towels and wash cloths in the bathrooms would be nice. Otherwise the house had everything we needed.
Beautiful home. Host answered any question right away. The only turn off was we were unable to use the washer/dryer. We went upstate to run a Spartan race and needed to wash some clothes. I messaged host and told him our situation and asked if we may use it (we had our own detergent) and he said I do not have access to it and sent me the address to a laundromat 10minutes away. Going back to the listing I did see you only have access if you are staying for 5+ days, but if we are also spending money for the house I feel like they could have been a bit more accommodating with that.
All and all it was a beautiful, clean home. Once all the work is done to the rest of the property Im sure it will be even nicer.
I booked this place for our church retreat and we had a great time!
The the beds were comfy, the house was clean and if had everything we needed. The property is in a nice and quiet place. The workers were there working during our stay but we didn't feel like they took out our privacy.
Rene and George were readily available everytime we had to contact them and we didn't have any problems. We really enjoyed our stay and had a great time worshiping God and connecting with each other.
If you book this house, make sure to make a fire and enjoy the night sky. The stars are absolutely beautiful!
