Great location, very well-appointed home with everything you could want for a fun and relaxing getaway. This place somehow manages to be immaculate and dog-friendly!
It was the cleanest home I've stayed in, and the Host was very responsive and helpful when the internet went out for a bit.
We truly enjoyed the house and our stay in the Parksville area, we would recommend this home to anyone who wants to stay in this area.
Our host Harrison was great and did a great job communicating with us throughout the use of the rental. Check in was easy and self explanatory, the property was clean and set up in a way for you to relax and unwind while enjoying the serenity of the Catskills. State Forrest land is all around the property which allows you to do a number of recreational activities.
It’s really a great property, very nicely equipped and very tastefully decorated. It was a true pleasure being there at night and also working from there for a few hours during the weekend. We didn’t need to communicate with the host much but we got a prompt and very helpful response the one time that we did need it (before arriving - late in the evening, we needed suggestions on what was open at that late hour to grab some food, beverages and the like). It was an overall fantastic experience: we would recommend this property without hesitation and will rent it again in the future if available.
Hideaway Gem! Secluded in the wilderness you'll find this modern, exquisitely decorated, minimalist still warm house. Incredible attention to detail and quality everywhere you look (gadgets, towels, cutlery, TV, sonos audio, a vinyl record player with a great selection, etc etc etc). A perfect place to have a truly pleasant stay, from technology to coffee maker to wood-burning stove. Really pristine, C L E A N (not just clean as others say) inside and outside.
Lots of nature around, we skied in Belleayre (less than 50mins drive).
We're regular house vacation renters and this is probably one of the best (top 3) houses we've ever stayed in. We cannot wait to be back!
We were looking for a clean and modern house that was dog friendly in Parksville. This property was a perfect match. The attention to detail and the fun amenities (record player, well appointed kitchen, fire pit and endless firewood) were a plus. Highly recommended!

Nice house with large open area and direct access to state forest
The house is new and modern. The kitchen is well stocked. We especially liked the large open area outside and the direct access to state land. We also enjoyed the good selection of kids-friendly board games.
The reason for the one missing star is that the cleaning was not up to standard for our stay -- the work seemed to be unfinished with laundry left in dryer, stains in dishes and not-well-cleaned areas. We ended up doing some cleaning ourselves. That said, Harrison was very accomodating and quick in communication. He also shared lots of tips of the area. Hope that this is just an one-off issue.
Overall I recommend this house.
The perfect getaway for my friends, myself and two kitties. Everything in the home was thoughtful from the extra paper towels, yoga mats, board games, books, wood for fire pit, flashlight, and even labels on the light switches. So much better than expected with specialty Costa Rican blend for the french press, and a welcome instruction pamphlet that shows multiple ways to connect with Harrison, the owner. The weather was perfect for enjoying the stars, nature and fire pit or eating on the deck enjoying the sun. The lounge/meditation room is special and quite lovely for quiet time. The management company, Evolve was not responsive to a couple of my written inquiries prior to my trip and I called upon arrival since I couldn't find the check in email with the contactless key code. Wifi was easy to connect and worked well throughout the space. The special home made the weekend memorable for my friends which far made up for the communication gap with Evolve. We had a great time exploring Livingston Manor market, stores, food, hiking to a waterfall, and planned a gathering at the Upright Brewery. I am looking to book again for sure, and plan to following up better with the managing agency if needed.
