Awesome Stay
My family had a wonderful vacation here. Scott was very friendly and communicative. Other than some sand, the house was very clean when we arrived. There were lots of little extras provided which was very appreciated, having extra. blankets, pillows, fans, is always nice. The floors do echo, so heavy-footed people can be heard throughout. The Wifi worked really well & streaming was available on the TVs.
The location is great if you want to be away from the crowds of Gulf Shores, but still within driving distance. It does require some planning however as you don't really want to be going back and forth just for little trips.
Thw beach is across the main road & while it is within about a 10 min walk, we decided it was easier to drive. There's a small public parking area just a few min. It's a good beach with nice sand & was never very crowded (end of March anyway)
There was a public pool and a hot tub in the community area which we're both nice. We were unfortunately absolutely swarmed with no-see-ums at the hot tub one night which put a damper on the fun. Also bit a few times on the beach in the late evening, so bug spray is a good idea.
Overall my family had a great vacation at the Blue Bungalow & would stay there again.
