Our host was very responsive, the house had great kitchen and appliances, an ample and cozy gathering place for games and cards, clean comfortable bedding, and a nice utility room with hooks and boot driers for our ski stuff.
This was one of the nicest places we stayed during our vacation. We loved the decor and layout of the home. We felt very comfortable staying here and the location was great for our visit to Mt. Rainier National Park. We highly recommend!
, I would rate them a 5 star, it was comfortable and nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable, plenty of linens, fully stocked kitchen, the property was pristine, the washer and dryer are nice after hiking all day. I would definitely stay there again. It is centrally located to trails and the National park. Access was easy.
The house is new and very well stocked. It was very comfortable and close to Packwood which has restaurants and a grocery store. The neighborhood is very quiet and we even had several elk that passed through one night. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
This house was absolutely perfect in every way for our group. The location was perfect for exploring Mt. Ranier and Mt St Helens and the little town of Packwood. The house is beautiful, decorated to perfection and had everything we could want or need during our stay. Loved it!!
My family of five spent three nights at this house while traveling through Washington. We loved everything about the house and Packwood. We were there during the middle of summer and the town had no crowds. It took us no time to get the park. The owners were great to work with. They checked in on us and even volunteered to mail something back one of my kids left. The kitchen is full of dishes and utensils. The house has plenty of towels. The house looks much better in person than in pictures. This is probably one of the best houses we have ever rented.
I've stayed in quite a few rentals and this is the best one I've ever been in! Just welcoming from the moment you enter inside; Everything was just top-notch. A fantastic living room to relax in and sit around and gab at night. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of everything. I cannot speak more highly of this property and we will be back!! Thanks for a fantastic stay!!
Nice, comfortable, well decorated new cabin. It's on the east city limit of Packwood so the closest you can get from White Pass skiing. It has one very large bedroom and two small ones. For two families: the children bedroom can only accomodate 3 but they have an inflatable twin bed. We used it in the master bedroom for the 4th child.
My family of 4 had a great time at this house. It was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. Our kids loved the beds - a bunk and the ones with the adjustable backrest. The couch was big and comfortable - perfect for reading or watching movies. They even had glove/boot dryers for ski gear.
We had some trouble with the door lock - unlocking and checking in was no problem, but it wouldn't work when we wanted to lock up. The host was very responsive and had a backup solution.
First, this home is in a nice neighborhood that was easily accessible. It is also favorably located to get to Mt. Rainier NP from either the West or East sides. It is close to restaurants as well after a long day at the park. The kitchen was nicely appointed. We did cook breakfast each morning and that was a breeze. The beds/bedding/towels etc were nice (I appreciated the diff colored towels so that each person could keep track of their own towels). The shower upstairs is small but it was absolutely functional and the double sink area was spacious. The sitting area was comfortable and the dining table functional. We did not use the bunkbed room so I can't comment on it. My family and friend would stay here again if we are ever in the area.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Timberline Retreat. The house is pretty much brand new with all new modern appliances and everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation. The beds and pillows are comfortable, we all slept great. Much needed after some long fun ski days at the pass.
No cell service so make sure you screenshot your welcome message from Lane that has the door entry code. Wifi is great and we had about 15 devices connected without issue. You can make calls etc. from the Wi-Fi.
One window shade was broken and we couldn’t use the fireplace as it was being worked on. This was communicated to us prior to arrival so we knew what to expect.
Great communication from the owner as well!
All in all a wonderful experience and we will be returning again soon!
We had a wonderful experience at this clean and modern home. It is the perfect base camp for a ski trip and it has all the amenities of home, plus lots of nice extras. Boot warmers, large mud room and laundry to dry your things. There is also a ton of dishware so you don’t have to spend your vacation washing dishes every meal and kitchen basics (even condiments, Tupperware and cling wrap!). The bathrooms were stocked with high quality soaps, lotions and towels. The TV was huge and WiFi was reliable as well. The host communicates quickly and was attentive during our stay to make sure the driveway got cleared when a snowstorm passed though. Only issue I could foresee would be that there is not a bathtub if you have really tiny kids, but the kitchen sink is huge enough to fit most kids up to 18 months I would say. I was hesitant to write such a glowing review because I want this place to be bookable for our group in the future, but it is clear the host loves and cares for this home with the thoughtful details, so they deserve the accolades! Looking forward to staying here again.
We had an amazing time staying at this rental. I loved how clean everything was and the beds were very comfortable. It was a great base for exploring Mount Rainier National Park.
The owners were very easy to work with and answered any questions we had. I loved all the little extras that were provided.
Overall a great rental, plenty of space for a family.
