About this property

Dream cabin with mancave and views of Lake Cumberland.

Home away from home is a cabin that is a 5-minute ride to the Wolf Creek Marina which has an excellent restaurant called Fishtales. Beautiful home with lake views. As you near the home there is a scenic overlook view that will take your breath away. Home is very spacious (2,160 square ft.) with an open concept. Large bedrooms with 2 full baths. Secluded location in a quite neighborhood. Fenced in backyard for your dog and kids.

Game room / man-cave for indoor activities such as foosball, darts, pool table, card playing and TV. Watch a movie with true surround sound with a theater like experience in the man cave.

Relax on the front porch to see the sunrise on a 3-seat glider chair plus two other individual glider chairs. Cook supper on a propane grill while enjoying partial views of the lake. On the back porch watch the sunset while sitting in swing. At night there is a fire pit to roast marshmallows and cook whatever you want.

Some other places to launch your boat that is FREE are Dudley Hill Rd. (4 minutes away) and Wolf Creek Rd. (8-minutes away) located right before Harris grocery on the left. Harris grocery is the general store in Jabez, you can get groceries, order food, fill up your car/boat with gas and are well known for their ice cream.

Acapulco Mexican restaurant, Mill Springs pizza express, Dollar General, Family Dollar, IGA, Shell gas station, Henderson gas station, post office are in Nancy, Ky. about17 miles away. Nearby sight seeing places are Mill Springs Battlefield museum and Haney's Appledale farm.

Great Location

Very close to Wolf Creek Marina and plenty of room to park a boat at the property. House was clean, roomy, with all kinds of nice amenities and exactly as described on the listing. I would highly recommend.

Perfect place to stay at the lake!

This property was the perfect place for our two family trip. The house was clean and had more than what was expected. You could tell Brenda went above and beyond to make our experience a great one. Communication was great as well. We will definitely be staying here again soon!

Fun at the Lake

Family lake time.

Family from Indiana and Alabama met here to enjoy Lake Cumberland for the week. House was perfect for after lake time in the evening, from the game room to the covered porches in front and back! Plenty of deer watching from the back porch. Kitchen layout was great and easy to prepare meals before and after the lake. Host had plenty of complimentary items for our stay. Location is perfect from Wolf Creek Marina. Will stay here again!!!

Perfect vacation stay

Great location, great hospitality, had everything we could have dreamed of. We would stay again. My teenager actually commented on how nice it was to stay here. :) great communication with the host. The beds were comfortable, couches were spacious, and had plenty of room to spread out. The driveway was pretty level for our boat and trailer, which is always something we are concerned about, so hopefully that helps with your decision. Close to wolf creek marina.

Excellent property and host

We felt at home from the moment we entered the home to find complimentary snacks and cold drinks in the fridge. The property is well represented by the photos online. The host is very nice, communicates well and provides all needed information. The home is well stocked with the necessities. We had a great visit and would stay in this property again. BTW, watching the birds and hummingbirds from the two large porches is a real treat!

Mancave

We loved this house. Homeowners were very friendly and very open to communicate. The location of the house is perfect if you are planning on boating, or just having a good time with buddies. We spent most of our time in the mancave which was AWESOME. And the front porch made for a great environment as well. Plan on going back for sure !

Our lake trip

I rented this cabin so my two children and three granddaughters could have a day on the lake. The cabin is beautifully furnished and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home including fresh farm eggs to eat for Sunday morning breakfast. We had plenty of room, the game room got rowdy with the competitions between siblings and we all made lasting memories. Thank you brenda for being such a great host!

Above and beyond

Brenda went above and beyond to make this vacation home welcoming. We were greeted with treats at the door, fresh flowers in the kitchen, and excellent instructions throughout the home. I loved the hints on where to get groceries and bites to eat. The back porch was calm and usually had a few deer visited each morning. The pup and I enjoyed sitting there each morning where he could run around safely in the fenced in area and I could drink coffee. We hope to come back soon for another visit.

Perfect Family Get-a-way

Just what we needed for a comfortable family weekend getaway. Property was clean and beautifully decorated. Plenty of space and activities for the whole family. Our for babies loved The fenced in backyard and we all LOVED the Man Cave! One note, we did not realize when we booked that the travel to food and other amenities were so far from house. Distance on the map app made it seem restaurants/stores were closer than they are to actually travel to one. However, we had all we need and kitchen was great place to cook!

Just plain awesome

Talk about hospitality, cleanliness, thoughtfulness, this place has it all we couldn’t be happier. Brenda is the best from the very first minute. We were getting there early and what does she do yep lets us check in early and upon getting there we walked into a super clean place which she had wine and amenities you get nowhere else. I definitely will go back this place is everything you see in the ads and more. Thanks to Brenda and her family for going all out. Can’t wait to return!!!

Dear Ms. Morgan, Its unfortunate that you were disappointed with your stay. You stated that there was bugs in the bed so i immediately called Somerset Termite and Pest Control to confirm what you complained about. After their inspection there were no bugs. Upon booking you never mentioned anything about bringing 2 dogs. You also stated that it cost you a lot of money. You were the one who booked the vacation for your family and was well aware of how much it cost. As to the bad smell, I am not also sure what you are trying to say. Our place is guaranteed clean and fresh always especially when it’s ready for guest’s occupancy. Thus, I cannot seem to relate with you on this. I still wish to thank you for your feedback, though not ideal for a business like ours, but this will put us more vigilant as to our guests accommodations to keep on improving on our facilities and service to make sure our guests have a pleasant stay.
