We did an extended family trip here and we had an amazing time. The layout of the house and the swimming pool is fantastic. There are two wings of the house with long hallways that house the rooms, and then there is a fantastic open floor kitchen living area where everyone can meet up. We had an issue with our faucet and the owner arrived quickly and when he couldn’t fix the issue, he immediately came back to install a brand new one himself! The owner took pride in this property and it was a wonderful place to gather the family and experience Lexington

Great place for a family get together

Layout is perfect for a family get together. The house has plenty of seating for people to sit together and in smaller areas for a bit of separation. We would definitely stay here again.

We had 13 in our family group ranging from 4 months to 83, 4 generations for the long labor day weekend. As other reviews mentioned, the property was beautiful! We had plenty of space for everyone. The patio was wonderful, we had warm weather and was able to use the pool some, it was a little chilly due to the cold spell we had but, the kiddos loved it. Jack was amazing, he answered all our questions. He responded quickly and was very helpful. Great stay, wonderful property and kind and responsive host - highly recommend.

Great Open layout!

We had 12 adult friends for. a Bourbon Trail trip. The house is very nice and well appointed with comfortable furniture inside and out by the pool. Beds are comfortable and sleeping was easy. We loved hanging by the pool and sharing great meals from the Blackstone grill in the open dining room. House manager quickly addressed minor issues. We loved the layout and had a wonderful trip here.

The house was gorgeous with great amenities and for hosting larger groups, with big gathering areas indoor and outdoor. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Lexington

Great resort spot

House seems like it was built as a resort to rent. Great layout, clean, etc. Beautiful drive all the way around. Pool area is great. There's only one TV, so it you're bringing a youngster and his Xbox, bring a spare monitor!

Family vacation!

The property's accommodations were fantastic for the amount of people we had! The pool temperature unfortunately was very chilly due to cooler temperatures in the area. Overall, we enjoyed the house and all it had to offer.

Great house close to Lexington

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s out in the country and nice and quiet in the evenings. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The open floor plan is nice for larger parties. The pool was a lot of fun. Everything is on one level which is very convenient for our great grandparents. We highly recommend this house,

Perfect!

This house is great for a family getaway. It is roomy, with ample room for everyone to have their own space. The pool is very nice, and I really enjoy cooking on Blackstone griddles. Jack was very helpful and accommodating, including when he let us extend our stay due to a mild illness.

Bourbon Trail Trip

Great house for 8 of us. Definitely enough room to gather in the great room, cook meals, hang out in the hot tub or by the pool. Had everything we needed to cook full meals and eat together. The only thing that was interesting was all the doors are louvered for the heating and cooling system. Not an issue, just something to ne aware of. Would recommend this house to any interested party. The host was super responsive with all communications and answered any questions quickly.

Perfect Getaway House

Longtime (50 years) friends and I got together in Lexington for a reunion in mid October. I selected this property based on the size, layout, and photos. From the moment I first walked in to this home, I was stuck by its' beauty- in a word, breathtaking. There was plenty of room and privacy for the 12 of us. I've been planning these annual get-togethers with this same group of friends for about 20 years and to a person, they declared this home to be their all-time favorite! Very large living area and kitchen that made it easy for us to gather for meals and cocktails. Jack, the manager, was extremely helpful and offered timely responses to my questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing property close to Lexington for a large group

Our family had a wonderful week at this property this summer. The house is very spacious and well laid out for a large group. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the common room with the kitchen/dining/sitting area was quite comfortable as well. The property let all of our party have their own space yet gather for family activities. The pool area in the courtyard is a really nice feature. We used it several times a day. It was a great break from the summer heat. Our host, Jack, was available for any questions and responded immediately to any requests we had. He is very friendly and easy to work with. We've visited other properties in the Lexington area and while all were nice, this is our favorite. We hope to be back.

Great home for a Bourbon trail vacation

This property was spacious, pretty and very clean. My family of 7 gathered for a Bourbon Trail weekend and really enjoyed coming back to this property at the end of the day. The property is not in central Lexington—a bit more out of the way which was not a problem for us since we had a car. The only negative (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is that two of the bedrooms got very hot at night and there was no way to cool down because the house had separate heating and ac systems and only the heating had been turned on. I mention in hopes that property owner works on a solution to this problem for other guests. All in all though we had a very good stay!

Outstanding house!!!

This home is beautiful! We all felt like we were staying in our own private lodge. Extremely clean, well stocked with everything. We only bought some extra paper towels. HUGE LG smart TV, wi-fi, Bosch induction stovetop ( would have liked instructions for it so I wouldn't have to bother the owner), Bosch diswasher, drip and Keurig coffee makers... just everything! Beds were all very comfortable, ceiling fans throughtout. The master shower is something to behold. A couple of things about the kitchen that would make things easier for guests. First, a larger refrigerator with ice maker. 12 people take a lot of fridge space, just for drinks and we had some trouble getting it all in. However, Jack made sure that if we needed ice he would supply it. Second, a 12" saute pan and large pasta pot. Cooking for a large group needs big pans. A plus was the full set of Cuisinart knives! A few little things needed attention and Jack fixed them ASAP! Quick communication and very friendly. And the pool...what can I say. We loved it, even though the weather didn't cooperate. And it has LED lights at night with a fountain. That was so much fun to swim in, looking at the moon. Thank you Jack for a wonderful stay.

Keeneland weekend

House is gorgeous! Sitting in the country but not too far from the city. Great for our couples weekend. Space is fantastic. Pool/hot tub area was so nice. We canceled our dinner reservations and stayed at the house and had fun cooking fajitas on the blackstone. Thanks again for an amazing experience and our group plans to come back again

Amazing place for a family get together

This house was perfect! We had a group of family stay for a UK football weekend and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner is a delight to work with and was completely up front with the construction process and the few minor tings that remain to be done. House was amazingly clean and equipped. All beds and furniture comfortable. And it was just a fun place to be. Will definitely book again. Great place for families or group of friends doing the bourbon tour. Highest of recommendations
