Really nice area close to Beach great size for the people in our party. Had some nice toys to play with at the ocean, kayaks bikes, and more. would recommend this place to others.

The property was nice. The layout was perfect for our family/group of 12. However certain things were a bit outdated and tired for the price. The sofa was worn and lumpy. There were plenty of pots, pans, etc but many of them were burned and scratched and required attention and lining. The pool and hot tub were great. So overall we had a good week.

Just Perfect!

We loved this house! It is huge, and the pool is so nice and large. The proximity to the beach was ideal… just a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. This house had everything we needed, including a pool table… absolutely loved our stay here. We’ll be back!

Great intro to OBX

Wonderful week in beautiful Corolla! The house was perfect for our family, full of essentials for a great week. We did a combo of eating out and cooking in and the house was well appointed with everything we needed. We brought most of our food since we were advised that not many grocer stores on island. Harris Teeter worked well for us but will still bring most of our own food. (Limited organic choices)

This was our first year staying at just a fluke. We found it to be clean upon arrival. The house itself it’s dated. The couch in the living room is falling apart, pool table is worn out, liner in pool needs tightened, handle on stairs to pool loose, toaster oven not great, etc…). They list having two washing machines but the dryer can only hold 1/2 load of laundry. They had a lot of items in the kitchen (keurig, insta pot, pans). We had specifically emailed about the keurig and we’re told they didn’t have one. What they didn’t have were enough forks or a salad spinner. A more accurate description of what is included in kitchen would be helpful for packing. Location is great. Close walk to beach and near stores and restaurants. The development was nice and quiet. There is ample car space for parking. The two dishwashers were nice. We had an issue with the internet and that was quickly addressed by the company running the property. Overall, with some updating this house has a lot of potential we just felt the description and pictures were not accurate as the house is more dated than what was shown.

We have visited the Carolina shore many times as a family over the past 15 years. "Just a Fluke" was an ok place to stay, but everyone in our group agreed it could use some maintenance. First the good! The pool and pool area were great, the location to the beach was wonderful. What needed some work: The deck was a big concern, it felt somewhat unsafe and needed some maintenance. The kitchen was difficult to cook in for 20 people, there was an abundance of small appliances, but not enough forks or basics like a water pitcher. Balusters both inside the home and outside on the deck were loose or came off completely which was a major concern for the toddler in our group.We had a great time and I know vacation rentals are difficult to maintain, but I really think Just a Fluke could use some TLC.
