The hosts were fantastic—very friendly and accommodating. The property itself was excellent, tucked away from the main road yet within walking distance of several restaurants, shops, and a supermarket. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you're planning a trip to the Chicagoland area!

A cozy Stay

I loved how organized the hosts are from cleanliness of the home to the detailed instructions for maintenance during our stay. We will most likely come for another stay this summer to enjoy the warmer weather and other summer activities to do in this neighborhood!

Our Host was very gracious , communicative kept us informed with friendly reminders such as trash day. Being on vacation we can forget so that was awesome. Home was well equipped with everything from kitchen to bath as well as snow shovel and salt which we didn’t expect all that snow. Also helpful he had sent out 2 young men to shovel the driveway which helped after days of snow. The home was cozy and sweet we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed Dec 25th-Dec 29th. For the most part the house is exactly as stated. It is clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom could use some updating and new carpets. A new coffee pot is needed as it was broken when we went to make coffee. The living room and dining area were perfect for our needs during the christmas holiday and it was in close proximity to our daughter and family.

Very accessible to everything we needed. We did not have a car but we founf great take out, groceries and train access to chicago. There were two food options within walking distance that we enjoyed. Could easily get groceries and access to drug store for necessities was also close. Also used uber very easily. The space was exceptionally clean and the host was in contact and super helpful. Would definitely book here again.

The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and a great, convenient location. It was very cold weather while we were in Illinois so the house was pretty cold, especially in the mornings. The kitchen could be better equipped. We had to go to the Jewel to buy a larger pan and a harder spatula. Ultimately, that's an issue at most rental homes so it wasn't the end of the world. Overall, it was a great stay and would absolutely stay again!
