Adorable 1 bedroom cottage a short walk to Newport's Easton's Beach (also known as First Beach). Tucked away on a quiet side street amidst flowering gardens. The vibrant Newport waterfront is 2 miles away, but while on the deck of this cottage you will feel you are in your own little oasis.
This cottage has a queen bed, full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen for eating in, satellite TV and window AC unit.
This cottage is one of four cottages known as Beach Garden Cottages. They share a parking area, a large yard, an outdoor shower and a coin-op washer and dryer. The cottages are landscaped for privacy.
This location is best for those looking for a quiet vacation spot close to but away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Newport. Please no parties or late night noise. House rule: No voices or music loud enough to be heard outside after 10 PM.
Monthly rentals available and we would like them to line up on the first and last of the month for example June 1-30th, July 1-31st, August 1-30th. Please request your stays in this manner but you ask about flexibility with the dates as well. Thank you.

We bought this property of 4 cottages and a two family house in 1997. It was very rundown. We lived on the property and did most of the renovations and landscaping ourselves with lots of help from friends and family. We now live in the next town but continue to be very 'hands-on'. We have been doing vacation rentals for over 20 years and will do all we can to make sure you enjoy your time here. We are easily reached to solve any problems or answer questions for our guests.
Why they chose this property
Trisha grew up in the Newport area and Paul grew up near the coast in Madison, Connecticut. Shortly after getting married, we were thrilled to find a 'fixer-upper' so close to the ocean. We take great pride in having created a unique vacation spot for so many of our returning renters and look forward to meeting new renters every year.
What makes this property unique
Paul's gardens are what all our renters comment on and make our place special. When you walk through the gate, behind the hedge, the landscaping will charm you. Seashell paths, arbors, roses, hydrangeas, daisies, blueberry bushes and strawberries, covered decks, butterflies, birds and more create a serene and unforgettable place to relax and unwind.
