This property was spacious, clean, nicely decorated with a wonderful view of the marsh. It was a very peaceful place to relax with friends with good seafood not far away. Judith was great to communicate with and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more.
This facility is dated in many aspects and there is an office desk chair that should be removed and an iron in the place. So, that's the negative. Now for the positives. This home is very clean, spacious, well accommodated, comfortable beds and relaxing location. The acoustic in the house was impressive as well. Our favorite hangout was the back porch. You should spray the area for "no-seeums" as they will cause an issue. Lastly, I just want to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all the negatives I mentioned were cancelled out by the service rendered by Ms. Judith. She was/is exactly what you want when you're away from home and need semi-emergency assistance. SHE IS A STAR!!! Thank you Ms. Judith for contributing to our "chillaxing experience"
The home was very well taken care of and had everything provided. It was a nice view from the back porch, but a little caught off guard by the small cemetery right next to the home. It was perfectly located for us as we went north and south along the coast

About the host
Hosted by Judith Herren
I manage this property for the owner as well as others listed on VRBO. I am a hands on manager as I live just a couple of miles away. I was suppose to visit this bluff for 6 weeks. That is now over 4 years ago. Caution: If you get the sand in your shoes you just might become a resident.
Why they chose this property
This home is often revisited because the owner did multiple upgrades. His future plan is to ultimately add a dock for fishing, shrimping and crabbing in the creek. Meanwhile, enjoy the solitude and peaceful quiet on a screened back porch with a view.
What makes this property unique
The view makes this property stand out from the rest. In addition is the absence of neighbors. There is a tiny historical cemetary to the left and a seldom used vacation home to the right. If you are looking for peace and quiet a short distance to the Shellman village this is the place for you.
