We had a great stay at Saltmarsh Cottage! The property is very comfortable and looked just like the pictures. It’s close to good restaurants and the waterfront. Thanks for letting us use your home.
Good choice - not far from the interstate in Darien GA
Spacious, well appointed, clean VRBO in decent neighborhood with nice views of the inlet from deck porch. Neat historic small town of Darien along waterfront.
I took a few buddy’s from work and my son on a weekend fishing and duck hunting trip. We didn’t do very well hunting or fishing. The house was the best part of our trip.
My husband, daughter, and I had a wonderful long weekend in this cottage. We had everything we needed and plenty of room for privacy for all. The house has an amazing master suite with a shower that will make you want stay clean ! It was easy checking in, and I loved being able to choose my own code for entrance. The location is close to restaurants , shopping, etc., pand provides a lovely area to walk under towering oaks. I loved being able to go out on the top balcony each morning to do my yoga. Wow! What a wonderful view of the marsh with spring birds singing
This was a great property. The owners were fabulous people to meet and helpful throughout the whole process. We booked on a short notice and they made it happen. 10/10.
We had a family wedding at a nearby Bed and Breakfast. This VRBO was used as a home base for the groom's family. The house is super comfortable, relaxing, and their is attention to detail in the finishes. The walk to downtown Darien is a minute or two. The view is lovely! Our hosts were helpful with changes to number of guests and check in, as well as check in/out. We highly recommend this place!
We had a wonderful time, visiting Darien and the surrounding towns. We ate at several great restaurants and enjoyed the festival. We plan to make this trip again. Thanks.
We were in town for a family reunion at a nearby lodge. This home gave us the perfect home base. Very comfortable and convenient. The owner, Kevin, even mailed a pair of children’s shorts to us that we left behind. We would definitely stay here again.
Our family used this rental for a weekend family get together. It was central for family living in the area as well as fishing and sightseeing. The house is fantastic and the upgrades make it feel like home. We will definitely be back.
The home was beyond expectation. Gorgeous marsh view from the front porch area. House was updated and beautifully furnished. We hope to return again soon.
The house and location was perfect for our needs. My kids (young adults) sailed into Two Way Fish Camp from the Bahamas for needed repairs. We stayed 2 nights at the SaltMarsh home and enjoyed every minute. I highly recommend this rental.
I definitely will stay again. Awesome place.
This house was perfectly clean and beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with a lovely coffee bar and everything we needed to cook a big breakfast. It was a nice place for our family to stay for the night for my brother’s graduation. I wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts were nice and great communicators. Highly recommend.
We loved this house. The view from the porch is amazing; beautiful sunset and sunrise. A nice surprise were the books in the house. several books on the history of Darien were available to read. I liked them so much I ordered a copy for my own library. Skippers fish camp was in walking distance and so was a wonderful cafe where we got coffee and scones in the morning. Beds were comfy and the master shower was great.
