Serenity was exceptional in its location and overall accommodation for our group of 8 guests. The kitchen was well stocked in tools, pots and pans and spices for cooking. The home is central to all you may want to do in the Destin area and moments from the beach in two directions. The host communicated with us quickly when we had questions and responded helpfully to all our needs. We saw dolphins daily and enjoyed the sunsets from the beach at the west end of the street. Overall a delightful stay!

Love this home

This home is just beautiful. The attention to detail and responsive host made this stay perfect. Location to private beaches and access to fishing the jetty made for a perfect location away from the Destin crowds. Can’t wait to come back

The Perfect Place to Stay!

I can’t thank Macey enough for letting us stay in her beautiful home! The house had everything a family could need and the community couldn’t be more family friendly. She showed us so much kindness throughout the week. We were so lucky to stay in this home. My son was so sad to leave. Just a really special vacation overall!

The best beach house ever!

Our family enjoyed serenity by the shore so much! The house is an easy walk to the beach and pool. Everything was just as pictured. The house was well appointed and the attention to detail was far beyond any beach house we have ever stayed. We had lots of fun in the game area… a great place to enjoy with our teenagers! We will definitely be staying at Serenity by the Shore again!!

Perfect family vacation space

We had a wonderful experience staying at Serenity by the Shore. The home was pristine with a perfect location to the pool and beach. A lot of effort was obviously put into making our stay comfortable by providing extra directions from how to use the remote and where to find additional linens. The kids enjoyed the game room located in the garage. It was definitely a 5 star experience.

Amazing Stay

We had an amazing time. The house was gorgeous and clean (very important to me) with great proximity to a wonderful beach and two pool areas. Everything in the house was thought of to the very last detail. Amenities / toiletries in the bathroom, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, games, spices, cooking supplies, everything you could ever need. Lots of places won’t supply all of this or leave you very little, but we needed for nothing and had an amazing trip.

Amazing week at Serenity by the Shore

Absolutely stunning home equipped with anything a family could possibly need! This home-owner has left no stone unturned as it relates to a home away from home. For our group, the downstairs game room was a “game changer” We have very active twin grandsons and this game room was utilized night and day during downtime from the beautiful beach and pools! For sure a FIVE star experience.

Well stocked and organized

First, this is a really cool location with access to a main beach with chair service as well as a little cove surrounded by rocks. We saw a ton of wildlife and the kids loved the herons and catching little fish in the surf. The house is super well stocked, especially if you’re staying with little kids. There were lots of beach toys, nets, buckets, floats, etc. We brought TP, trash bags and detergent but didn’t need any of those things as she had provided plenty. Will definitely stay again. Family Fun for All Ages!

We stayed at this lovely home with our family of five, and another family of five-- four kids and six adults. The kids ages ranged from 6 years old to 13 years old. This house exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Our kids all enjoyed the game room, and adults enjoyed the lovely living space and fully stocked kitchen! There may have even been a few family shuffleboard tournaments played! The beach gear and cart that were provided with the house made our lives so much easier! Our teens/tweens loved the bunk room spaces where they could have their own space to hang in the evening. Macey has thought of everything one could want when you are traveling to make the house your home away from home! Also, both pool and beach are a quick walk away!

Christmas at Serenity by Shore

Our family travelled from different parts of the East Coast and were very excited to spend time together in Florida. After numerous cancelled flights and delays due to snowstorms and freezing weather, we all finally made it there and the house did not disappoint. It is beautiful, comfortable, and we did not need a thing. The owner makes sure you have everything you could want. The kitchen is fully stocked; we made a few fancy meals for the holiday and didn't need any pots/pans or appliances that were not in the house. The bedrooms were spacious and bright with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. The beach and sunsets are breathtaking and the location of the house is perfect. The online pictures and description of house are right on. We would come back again. (and hopefully it will be warmer). Thanks again! Barb and family

Beautiful Beach Home

We enjoyed a lovely four-night stay in Serenity by the Shore over Labor Day weekend. The home is spectacular. We loved the layout, and the bunk room was perfect for our three children (ages 3-8). All of the finishes in the home are beautiful, and no detail was spared. What sets this home apart, however, is all of the extras that Macey offers her guests. We loved the charging station and noise machines in each room, as well as all the extra towels. The entire house is also stocked with things that you easily forget when packing (plastic bags, foil, toiletries, steamer and distilled water). The game room was also a hit with our kids when they came in for a break from the pool or beach, and also has tons of extra beach toys and floats. Finally, the location is great. The house is very convenient to the walkway across the lake, which makes all the difference after a long day at the beach! We’ve stayed in a different house in Destin each of the last five years and our whole family agreed that this was the nicest! We would love to stay again!

Incredible Beach House!

If you’re looking for a vacation where all you have to do is bring your clothes and groceries, this is the house to stay at. Our family of 6 has stayed in Destin Pointe 5 different summers and this was by far our favorite beach house. Location was PERFECT to both pools and both beach access points. The converted garage space was fully stocked with everything to entertain all four of our kids, ages 16-4. The host provides beach toys, a wagon, a cooler, chairs, umbrellas, there’s ping pong, tennis rackets. Foosball etc. you name it! We were so surprised to find a fully stocked kitchen with every gadget and dish you’d ever need, and coffee bar as well. All the drawers and cabinets are labeled which makes settling in the first few days much easier. The hosts provide many ideas and options in organized booklets that guided our family on what to do in the area and we even tried a few new places and loved their recommendations. Overall, we had the best time and enjoyed every minute in this beautiful beach house.

Fantastic House and Location

First of all, wanted to mention the area. Much quieter and less crazy than Seaside area. Plenty of shopping, grocery, and restaurants nearby. The beaches were a lot less crowded as well. The house itself was really great and looked amazing. There was plenty of common space as well as size of the bedrooms. The bunk room proved to be a favorite for the kids. The kitchen was well appointed and was easy to move around for multiple people. The first floor garage had been converted to an entertainment area with flat screen TV, ping pong, foosball, and shuffleboard. There was a second fridge downstairs with cold packs for the beach cooler and plenty of beach toys and chairs. There were 2 community pools within a few minutes walking and the beach was a 5 minute walk, but there is also a beach shuttle running during the day that will pick you up and drop off at your house. Also wanted to mention how nice it was working with the owner. She was very communicative before arrival and was even pro-active about contacting us about construction being done in the community,
