Cleanliness was rated a 3 because we found coffee grounds, toaster crumbs, porches not cleaned in months, showers questionable. There is no area for dogs to potty on this property should not be dog-friendly. We had to use the neighbors yard. Also beware if you travel in the fall the acorn trees cause significant damage to your vehicle with no other options to park. Also if you are traveling during any inclement weather the road is one lane and it would not be accessible without 4 wheel drive.

Perfect House for Our Family Trip

We had a wonderful stay as a family of 3 and our 2 fur children! Layout of the house was perfect with a 1 year old and the location was perfect as we weren't far from anything! We spent lots of time on the deck enjoying the sun and just hanging out!

Home Away from Home

We’ve stayed at a lot of places in the OBX. This was the first time we felt like it was a home away from home. It was clean, decorated nicely and close to the beach. We’ve always stayed close to the beach where we could walk. This was a short drive and we were always able to find parking. We would stay here again. Thanks for opening your home to our family.

It is a bit of a tired property, which doesn't really show in the photos. Needs some cosmetic upkeep in the paint department.There are some rusty items like vent/grates and sink traps that are kind of a turn off.Overall it was clean, but there were a lot of spiderwebs and a few critters lurking about. It could use a good spraying. A lot of the outdoor spaces (decks, front porch) that had to be swept clean of webs which gave the impression it was somewhat neglected this summer.The neighborhood was quiet. The tv system and choices were on the lower end. We weren't there to watch tv, but it was difficult to find the basics (local weather, etc). It was an ok budget choice, relatively speaking, but there's nothing high end here.
