We travel to the Outer Banks annually. We stay somewhere different every time. We had a three year-old and a one year-old this time and the amenities were perfect. Waterpark is a nice break from the beach. But the beach is close enough for easy access. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was a little bit of mess when we got to the house. Had to re-wash some dishes in the dishwasher and stuff on the floor, couple spots here and there around the house. Overall easy to fix, seaside offered to come if needed and we had a wonderful week! Would recommend!

This property is managed by Seaside Vacation Rentals in the OBX. The house itself is comfortable (the carpets and furniture is a bit dirty), and the beach gear in the garage (tents, chairs, pool fun for kids, etc.) is fantastic (the best we've ever had in over 20 years of renting in the OBX). The kitchen has more than enough dishes, pots, pans, etc. for making meals, and the "jack and jill" bathroom upstairs works so well for families with small children. There's also a roomy primary suite with bathroom.The company management and response was disappointing. There wasn't a sheet set for the king-sized bed when we arrived well after 10:00pm on check-in day, and one of the comforters had blood stains on it. There also weren't any "helpful hints" for the house (technology, etc.), so when we continually had problems with the main television, that was disappointing. We left messages with the rental company, called in the morning and spoke with someone in the office about getting help, and they didn't always follow through with some basic service. The rental itself is good, but the company response was disappointing.
