One drawback to larger beach homes can be the number of stairs you have to climb to access different parts. While 3 and 4 level beach homes are common, you'll be delighted once you step inside 'Serenity Now' and find this is not the case. This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath has a bungalow-style design with 2 spacious levels to hold all its incredible features! It probably helps that it sits on a 20,000 square foot lot, so it's more spread out than stacked. Enjoy your mornings meditating on the covered porch. Spend hours splashing your cares away in the private pool out back, basking in the resort-like ambiance created by palm trees and lounge chairs with umbrellas, and relaxing in the bubbly Hot Tub. In the evenings, gather your loved ones by the indoor fireplace, where everyone's laughter and smiles will further confirm that Serenity Now is the perfect vacation home for your group.

As you enter the home through the bottom level you'll be greeted by a beautiful foyer, where hardwood floors and pale yellow and light brown hues complement the unique decor and assert the Spanish style. The dining room has a breathtaking table with seating for 6 that almost perfectly matches the floors throughout the home. In the kitchen, you'll find additional bar seating for 3, as well as sleek stainless steel appliances and white cabinets with open glass doors. The living room is quite spacious, with seating for 8 or more through a variety of comfy, stylish chairs and couches. Under the mantle, you'll find the indoor fireplace, perfectly situated under a remarkable abstract painting. And when you're ready to enjoy some friendly competition, the garage has been converted into a game room with a foosball table and ping pong table that promises hours of fun for the whole family!

These types of paintings and one-of-a-kind decor choices are spread marvelously throughout all rooms of the home. The glass doors in the living room will lead you to the private pool and outdoor patio area -- complete with a covered cabana area, lounge chairs with umbrellas, and Adirondacks! You'll find the two master suites on the bottom level as well. Each includes its own private bathroom and one even has private patio access and a sauna-style, glass-enclosed shower! There's also a convenient half bath downstairs for when your group spends evenings around the fireplace or for guests.

Travel to the top level and you'll find the other two guest bedrooms. They share a hall bath and they're as meticulously decorated as the rest of the home. There's one thing for certain -- Serenity Now will not make you feel as if you're in a high-turnover vacation home, blandly decorated with common beachy decor. Each room will make you feel right at home in your new Spanish seaside retreat, crafted in stunning art and decor, that would leave the most renowned interior designers in awe. One of the rooms has a private uncovered balcony, for soaking in the morning or midday rays as you overlook your little ones splashing below. Serenity Now is situated closer to the sound, so you can catch a glimpse of the astonishing Outer Banks sunsets every evening. During the day the beach is only a 5-minute drive away at the Dogwood Trail public beach access.

Southern Shores -- A Serene Neighborhood in a Bustling Beach Community
Southern Shores is known as a great Outer Banks town to build or buy a home in any of its secluded and protected neighborhoods. Given that it is one of the smallest Outer Banks beach towns, this is its primary appeal. However, you won't have to go far for things to do -- the thrills of Kitty Hawk are just one town over. In the mornings venture out to Front Porch Cafe -- one of the most popular local coffee shops, with multiple locations throughout the OBX. Their signature coffees and teas and mouth-watering pastries will prove why they lead the pack for great-tasting coffee in the area.

There are plenty of can't miss lunch spots in Kitty Hawk, including Art's Place: a quaint, two-story restaurant and bar on the beach road (Virginia Dare Trail) that's decorated in mesmerizing art from local OBX artists! Be sure to check out the Sway Bar on the second level for one of the best views of the Atlantic! However, if you're looking for something quick and easy, simply hop right over to Southern Shores Pizza. It's a delicious local pizza pub with one-of-a-kind pies! We guarantee you won't be able to stop at once slice! On the weekends you HAVE to grab dinner at Rundown Cafe. It's a small local, restaurant with signature dishes that range from fried chicken to tacos to seafood and more! The appeal is in the chef's flavorful preparations, separating every dish from being ordinary and transforming them into extraordinary OBX cuisines!

Sea Scape Golf Links isn't far from the home. Even though the Outer Banks is a small stretch of islands, many choose to travel here for the beach, the community, and the competitive games of golf found at Sea Scape's beautiful courses! If your long game isn't quite up to par, you can head over to Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Miniature Golf. Here you'll find two tricky 18-hole courses and a mining train that takes you to the top of the course mountain!
Now if the adults in your group want to play a variety of games while enjoying some tasty brews, then Turf's Up OBX is where you'll want to be! It's an indoor sports club that offers simulated games such as golf, baseball, football, soccer, hockey, and more. Enjoy any of the tasty beer or wine selections and play against friends and family for bragging rights until your next stay at Serenity Now!
