Timber Ridge 28 is a beautiful ski in/ski out condo at the top of Mammoth Lakes. Groomed run access to both Canyon Lodge and Eagle Lodge. Beautiful views of the White Mountains and Sherwin Mountains from the living room and deck, a 2 car garage, in-condo washer/dryer, 2 full bathrooms and a gourmet kitchen make this one of the best location in Mammoth. The condo is located on the upper floor of the building. Take the outside covered stairs to the entrance. The condo is all one level. There is an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, and large windows with expansive views. The living room has a leather couch, cable TV and wood burning fireplace. Additional bedding is provided if one person wants to sleep on the couch. It does not foldout. The corner dining table has two bench seats and is right off the galley kitchen. The kitchen has all the amenities needed to prepare meals. Down the hall is the primary bedroom that has a comfortable king size bed and ensuite bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower. The second bedroom also has a cozy queen size bed. There is access to a summer time deck and washer/dryer from the second bedroom. The second full bathroom has a shower/tub combo. Timber Ridge 28 features beautiful wood throughout making it feel like a mountain cabin getaway. Timber Ridge is a great location in winter and summer. A short 10 minute drive from shopping and restaurants, the lakes basin, bike paths, etc make this the perfect place to enjoy Mammoth Lakes and all the Eastern Sierra has to offer. Cozy Cabin Feel

We enjoyed our stay. Cabin is decorated in a woodsy feel. Had everything we needed. They aren’t kidding when they tell you it’s up a long hill. No problem for us in the summer time. Neighbors were a little loud at night, but that’s not the rental properties fault. Overall a great stay.

Summer time

Great spot. Great sunrises and views of the valley Far enough away from town but still very close to everything. Having a garage was a nice benefit. Overall a great stay.

Family Ski Trip

My wife, daughter and I stayed at the property for a pre-Easter ski trip. The property was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone.

Difficult access in snow

Heads up - the beds were short sheeted. There were flat sheets on the mattress - not fitted sheets - and they did not fold down around the mattress, the sheets hung out on the sides so when you turned in bed the sheets wrinkled and bunched underneath you. There was no top sheet at all - only a blanket on top of you. I was shocked. The mattress was extremely soft - something you do not encounter in any kind of premium accommodations. The kitchen was marginally equipped for cooking. I suggest you bring everything you may need for what you are planning to prepare for meals. The driveway to the condo was steep, extremely tight and twisty, on black ice. Attempt the drive only with 4 wheel drive AND CHAINS. A Subaru and a 4 wheel drive pick up truck each slid helplessly down the drive without being able to steer or stop while we were there. This unit is NOT ski in ski out - it was a block of walking up a very steep driveway on black ice to get to trail access. It is a shorter walk from 1849 condos or St. Antons condos to Canyon Lodge - although no one considers those ski in ski out. This unit is roomier than the Juniper Lodge condos, and has more character. The unit being a 70s or 80s era condo it is quite noisy between the units. There is no refund if you can't access the property because of snowfall - so heads up. Over this past 2022-2023 mega winter, that was most of the days in February.
