This adorable barn home was the perfect home base for our Door County vacation. Cozy and secluded, it is just a few minutes from Sister Bay. We had a wonderful stay at this place!
Exactly what my wife and I wanted. Quiet and comfy. Close to Sisters Bay but seemed like we were hidden away from everything. We would definitely rerun again.
My family chose this spot for our week long DC getaway, and it was just what we needed! The peace and quiet mixed with stunning flowers and nature views was a treat(plus kids loved that we saw a deer in the backyard one morning). The stars at night honestly left me speechless-my husband and I already are talking about coming back with a telescope in the future. We had zero issues with our whole process-highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay! The barn was super cute and private and great location in Sister Bay. The kitchen had everything we needed and the place was clean. Our host was very responsive and we are happy with our experience.
I booked a 3 night stay with my husband, 2 small boys and golden retriever over new years eve. The house was beautiful and cozy with a comfortable bed, jetted tub and all needed amenities. Paired with beautiful views on a cold winter day. The location is remote and quiet with a short easy commute into sister bay. We would definitely stay again!
Loved the little barn. For the smaller size, it felt roomy and was very very nice inside. It was located far enough away from town that we felt like we were in the woods. The upstairs was especially nice, big tub, sitting area and king sized bed.
This property is exactly how it is described. Perfect for couples or girls getaway. Host was very attentive. Location is great, not too close to all the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy all our favorite towns.
We absolutely loved our stay. The outdoor area is lovely and we enjoyed eating on the patio and sitting by the fire pit at night. The stars are beautiful to see in the night sky. The bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of room for us, our golden and our baby. The host was very responsive when we had a minor plumbing issue with the tub and it was immediately fixed while we were out exploring. I highly recommend this home to stay in.
My wife, 2 year old, and I (and dog) stayed here over Labor Day weekend. They have done a really nice job converting the old barn into a modern and cozy place to stay. This has been a recent annual tradition to come up to Door County and, for the first two years, we stayed in different VRBOs. This year I may have found the perfect place for a small family and will be staying here again in a year. Thanks for the great time!
The property was clean, quaint and had lots of personality and character. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary cooking utensils, and the back porch was well utilized by my husband and me as we relaxed at the end of the day!
We had a great time staying at the Three Sisters Cottage Barn. It was so peaceful and quiet - and a really beautiful renovation of a lovely old barn. Plus, the night sky was *amazing* since it was so dark. It took a moment to get used to the idea of lots of windows with no blinds/curtains. But, once we realized how secluded the barn is, we adjusted to that quickly. It was really a wonderful place to stay. And, Kathleen (host) was fantastic to work with -- she was very helpful when we had some travel issues and incredibly kind to work with. Couldn't have asked for a better place or a better host!
My husband and i chise 3 sisters barn for our 5 year anniversary ans we couldnt be happier. Nesstled away in the woods away from loud sounds, with a sky full of stars and the cutest little home away from home. We had our most favorite anniversary yet. We found ourselves coming back eaely each bight to spend time at the cottage. Would defi
My wife and our 45-lb dog spent several nights in the refurbished barn/cottage, and we really enjoyed our stay! The place wasn't super-spacious, but the space available was well-used. The kitchen especially was well-appointed (minus a microwave).
The location worked well for us. It's not especially close to much, but Sister Bay was less than 10 minutes away, and everything from Egg Harbor on north was within a 30-minute drive.
We went during an especially warm September period, and the place did warm up a bit in the afternoon, but once we mastered the windows, it wasn't a problem. There were also a few flies inside (though I'm not sure how one can avoid that in a cottage).
Overall, we were impressed with the place and would go back again.
