We love staying here! This is our 2nd visit and it’s perfect for families. We came when our daughters were little and now we are back and they are teens and I think they loved it even more this visit. The fireworks from our balcony and the day at the beach was our favorite parts but the entire trip was relaxing and everyone had plenty of fun on the boardwalk! We will be back, your staff has been exceptional.

Wedding in Destin

Emerald Grand is a fabulous property. Clean, beautiful views and great staff! Close to local restaurants and shops on the harbor. The room was spacious and comfortable for the time we spent there. I would highly recommend this location to stay in Destin.

Very nice view of the gulf and Bay Area Indoor parking restaurants and shopping onsite Pool and free boat ride to the beachLots of other activities as well Was expected to remove all are trashWasn’t sure what to do with it We live 800 miles away Bring your own tp and laundry soapPaper towel etc if you’re staying more than one day

Good stay

The kitchen has VERY limited supplies. We’ve stayed at MANY VRBO’s all with way more kitchen supplies then offered here. It’s basically a hotel. Zero seasonings, oil, cooking spray etc. not even coffee. Again basically a hotel. Great location and be sure to take the boat shuttle to the private brach. Very chill and low key

Host seemed welcoming and amenities were in good condition. Only complaint being that we were there for our wedding and we were contacted the day of our ceremony telling us they had a showing for the unit that we had rented for 5 days...then called back later to say they realized we were getting married that day but if we could let them know a better time that they could set up another showing to let them know....so now you want us to leave the condo we paid to rent for 5 days for our wedding and honeymoon so you could have a showing??? Just seemed extremely unprofessional and unreasonable. Other than that everything was ok.

The unit is beautiful, the location fabulous, the view terrific. Beds very comfortable. Ample towels.Lighting needs improvement - too few lamps and lights in every room. Kitchen needs more of everything - we were promised a Keurig, not one. Not enough big serving bowls or dishes. Jar openers. Wifi was pretty useless.

Stinky and dirty carpets in all rooms. Non working and or broken fixtures. Wornout and tacky furniture. Front desk was not prepared and were not notified of our arrival. Front desk staff not cooperative. Had to contact Real Joy for everything and they were hard to reach on the phone. Location and view is great.
