The house was very cosy and comfortable. It was and had everything we needed. The view off the back patio was amazing!Edward quickly answered our questions and was very helpful.
This was a great place to stay with family. Lots of great comfy beds, a fully stocked kitchen with everything you could need to cook, two great bathrooms with plenty of towels. Also some great games to play! I would definitely recommend this house.
Good size house 3 big bedrooms plenty of beds, has everything you need in the in the kitchen, deck was perfect area to hang out. very clean. Leave the house as you find it, clean up after yourself & take care of trash very easy.
The house was clean. It's located back in the woods, which was great for us. I wish we could have taken advantage of the outside but those mosquitoes were not having it! The host was very accommodating, and the person that lives on the property seems nice. We would definitely stay again.
An easy trip to Boothbay & Maine Botannical gardens. It was rainy, so we didn’t get to use the deck. The grill worked well. Bedrooms are roomy. It was a surprise that someone lives in the apartment below. We didn’t see him, but we heard him.Location was good for us. Enough room for 2 couples.
The home was nice and clean upon arrival and the kitchen was stocked well along with the rest of the house. One thing that should be in the listing is that there is a basement apartment on the lower level of the house. It didn’t bother me one bit and you barely noticed the person was there. Just thought it should have been disclosed. The owner was responsive and the property is in a great location. Very quiet and close to a lot of areas of interest. The beds were also very comfortable and the deck/ porch was great. The beaver pond that’s with in eye sight was also very cool.
The house is immaculate and well equipped in the kitchen, there are plenty of towels for showering and drying hands. There were unbreakable dishes and bowls for my young granddaughters to use and two baby gates to prevent babies from going upand down the stairs. Close to Hannaford's supermarket, the downtown harbor area for shopping and dining. We had a small problem with the key code to check in the 1st day, the host was super responsive and changed the code for us to get in. A couple of suggestions: there should be a handrail installed to go up/ down to the 2nd floor for safety reasons, the door to the bedroom on the left on the 2nd floor did not latch completely and the beautiful model schooner should be put away when there are children staying at the house. I needed to move the schooner a number of times so that my grandchildren did not break it when playing in the family room. I loved staying in this home. Thank you!
Great stay for a weekend in Boothbay for a wedding. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend, plenty of towels, all the kitchen essentials, and baby gates to keep the little ones and the dog from the stairs. Would rent again if we travel to the area.
Loved this property, was perfect for a long weekend getaway with two dogs. Plenty of space, and a large yard. We had some difficulty getting into the house when we arrived, but the Host immediately saw my message and helped troubleshoot with us.
Private property, clean, WELL stocked but was bummed to not to find a hot tub, which was one of our selling points! Overall had a great time & would book again.
The house was very lovely. Very comfortable and homey. The kitchen looked well stocked to do your own cooking, but we ate out. I would highly recommend this home for your get away.
Private, peaceful house within a short drive to Boothbay Harbor and Damariscotta and beyond. First floor bedroom and bath was perfect for grandma, and plenty of beds upstairs for the rest of the family to find a good spot. Fully functional and well-equipped kitchen. We had lovely weather to enjoy the deck, and room to relax apart or together in between our outings.
We had a quick stay in Boothbay for my husband’s birthday. This house was adorable and perfect for us. The house was clean and well stocked. Truly appreciate all the extras- cleaning supplies, spices, coffee filters, paper towels and plenty of T.P!!!definetly would stay here again!
Close to Boothbay Harbor, Bristol, Georgetown, and 1 hour away from Rockland. Just needs to put a screen in the doors, bugs get in the house. Would stay again.
We stayed for the weekend to attend a family wedding in Wiscasset. Edward's home was comfortable for our entire family of 7 plus our dog. Clean. Spacious and close to Wiscasset and Boothbay Harbor. Kitchen has everything you could possible need. Edward responded to all questions within minutes. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Edward!
We stayed here with family traveling in for our wedding and were absolutely blown away by the care and details that went into making this place feel like a home away from home. The place was spotless and the beds were cozy but what impressed us most was the kitchen. An extensive spice cabinet and tons of kitchen tools (in good care, not the usual extra dull knives in most places) made it feel like a place you could really spend time in and make your family's favorite comfort food before eating around the giant table indoors and out. Wish we couldve stayed longer to enjoy the outdoor areas!
