Welcome to Let's Flamingle, located directly on Blue Cove just off of Rainbow River

Welcome to Let's Flamingle, located directly on Blue Cove just off of Rainbow River. Drop a kayak or paddleboard, fish, or relax from the back deck and patio. Enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail watching all the wildlife the river brings to the property, including otters! Cook smores over the fire pit near the water. Fun for the whole family!

Currently, we provide 2 tandem kayaks, 1 inflatable kayak, 3 paddleboards and a bunch of tubes.

Blue Cove is located right off a main road and is within walking distance to Swampy's Waterfront Restaurant. Just a quick less than 5 minute drive and you will find Just A Cupcake Bakery and Cafe, Go For Donuts, banks, grocery stores, shopping, and many other restaurants.

You will have complete access to the entire home and property, minus the owner's closet. The garage is for storage and no cars are allowed to be parked inside.

The home is an oasis and has been updated nicely with modern touches. There is wood-look tile throughout and no carpet to be found. Each bedroom is very spacious and includes a king-size bed with resort hotel linens. The living room seats the entire family and is the perfect place to unwind after a day on the water. The gourmet kitchen provides all the necessities if you decide to prepare a meal.

Almost everything you may need is within a 5-minute drive.

Dunnellon is a quaint town but has so much to offer. We provide a detailed welcome guide to maximize your stay as well as help you plan accordingly.

Things to do:

Rainbow River- kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, tubing, boating. Restaurants overlooking the water.

Crystal River- Swim with the manatees, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating.

Homosassa Springs- Monkey island which has 4-5 active monkeys. Many restaurants are on the water. Boating, kayaking, paddle boarding.

The World Equestrian Center is located 18 miles from the home and offers weekly events, dining and shopping. Family friendly.

Travel Insurance- Although not required, we highly suggest you purchase travel insurance to cancel for any reason. Whether the issue for needing to cancel is due to covid or any other illness or accident, bad weather, flight delays or cancellations any other reason you are unable to make the trip, travel insurance will be your refund opportunity. Please be sure to read our cancellation policy, which will not be modified or adjusted.

*Please be aware that this is Florida. If you don't want bugs, mosquitos, spiders, snakes, armadillos, lizards, iguanas, raccoons, palmetto bugs, deer and/or cockroaches in the house, please do not leave the door open. We do not give refunds for bug and/or animals found in or outside the property.

only had text contact with host who did not respond.The home was great inside and very well stocked. The exterior yard was very overgrown, the back patio was growing algae and was slippery. There was a ramp made of plywood laying on the ground to cross over to the boat dock that was scary and a set of nice chairs on the patio and one was missing support screws, so we set it aside. The BBQ was not working. This is a nice neighborhood with some nice homes and the neighbors were pleasant to us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but were disappointed in the condition of the exterior and amenities.

Overall good place. Pictures claim on property there was a waterfall and there is not. House was well stocked. Beds very comfy. Not much organization in the garage and grounds outside could use some weeding. Neighbor mowed which helped. Kayak seats are in need of help and several chairs by fire pit were broken. But all in all it is a good place.

There are definitely pros and cons to this property. We arrived at night to find the landscaping a bit neglected, which made for a less-than-ideal first impression. The check-in process, however, was very smooth and easy.Our first night wasn’t great — the beds squeaked quite a bit, and we found a few black beetles crawling in the master bed. I was honestly ready to leave the next morning… until we took the paddle boards out.Once we paddled down to the main river, everything changed. The Rainbow River is absolutely beautiful — crystal clear, full of fish and turtles, and surrounded by peaceful nature. We spent the whole day snorkeling and paddling, and it completely turned our stay around.

Very clean and completely updated. Comfortable furniture, lots of space, plenty of dish choices. The most paper products provided of any place we have stayed. We kayaked and paddle-boarded daily. Access to the river is very easy. Wildlife is abundant. Good food choices in town and close by (Don Pepe's and The Breakfast Station were our favorites). Swampy's is close enough to walk to. Close to lots of historic sites and walking/biking trails. So much to do that we would never run out of things. Most mornings spent sitting by the river. The only things I would suggest to future renters is to bring bug repellant and sunscreen for your outdoor adventures.

All the comforts of home

The pictures on site are exactly what it looks like inside and out. Very clean inside. The king beds are comfortable as well as the pull out couch bed. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware. The hostess was very easy to contact and had supplied all the necessities including bug fogger, citronella candles and bug spray for outdoor comfort. Rainbow river is easily assessable from the cove. The teens enjoyed learning to paddle board with the provided boards. The tandem kayaks were a little hard to maneuver but we enjoyed the convenience. We brought kayaks, too, and there was plenty of room in the garage to store them. The neighborhood was friendly and we felt like we were at home! We would recommend this property for those wanting to kayak the “ Blue Run” and who want to relax and enjoy the great outdoors.

Wonderful house, great location

This house made our Thanksgiving trip! It was clean and comfortable. The couch was a hit and the beds were super comfortable. Great Location and Beautiful House

This beautiful house was very well appointed including all the best toys for a great Rainbow River experience. The interior of very open a spacious. Each bedroom had a very comfortable king bed. Not to mention everything was very nicely updated. The back dock area was also beautiful for hanging out and launching to the river.

The home was beyond our expectations and we enjoyed every minute on the back patio overlooking the river. It is well-appointed, incredibly comfortable, leaves plenty of room to spread out with a group, and ideally located— just a short drive to Rainbow River state park and Crystal river. Tons of water toys are available and we loved taking the SUPs and kayaks out to explore the surrounding waters

Perfect family vacation spot!

This was absolutely the perfect spot for a family. The house was clean, updated and no clutter which made it very easy to have a toddler here. The beds were absolutely amazing!! The outdoor space was beautiful with easy access to rainbow river, only about a five minute paddle. Plenty of floats, kayaks, paddle boards are all available as well as, some fishing rods. Kelly, the owner made our stay stress-free with having a fully equipped house!! We will definitely be staying here again.

For many years my family has enjoyed coming to the Rainbow River to enjoy the crystal clear water and abundance of wildlife. Our favorite day is floating on the river and enjoying dinner by the water at one of the local eateries.

When I was looking for our vacation home, I knew I wanted to be able to drop a kayak or paddleboard and just explore Rainbow River, but also close to grocery stores and restaurants. This home is perfect for a family getaway or a weekend with friends.
