Comfortable space for everyone to both spread out and come together, which was a huge relief after spending many days in hotels prior to our visit! It had everything we needed and the we enjoyed evening strolls through the village.

Favorite Place to Stay!

Our 3rd stay here and we love how close it is to our daughter, the walk to local places to eat, coffee shop, ice cream shop and even the local library! We will be back!

Place is very clean and comfortable. We stayed three nights and enjoyed our stay. It’s right in a small town and there are local places to eat close by. Great communication with the owner. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for what we needed

Love the location!

We love to stay in Cheryl's homes when we come to the Rochester area. Pet friendly and she ensures your stay is comfortable and always has the basic needs available for you to use in the kitchen, bath and laundy areas We will be back again Cheryl!

Great place for family

Very old building with great history and character. The four bedrooms made it possible for family members to visit and stay overnight. Great location, Salvatore's restaurant -bar, best pizza ever. Scottsville diner has very good breakfasts, and the ice cream shop is second to none.

Tremendous amount of space. Terrific location in this really cool, but quaint town. Steps to a pizza restaurant, general store, ice cream parlor. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay there again. Just a great spot.

Scottsville Visit

Location was perfect for visiting with family and special event which was the purpose of the trip. Good restaurants within walking distance. Owner’s communications were informative and timely. Felt well taken care of. Would definitely stay there again and recommend booking to others!

We are staying at this property for a total of three weeks for work. It’s beautiful, rooms are all large and airy, two massive bathrooms, beds are super comfy. Really have nothing bad to say about the property or the host who has been a sweetheart

The property was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was very well appointed. Our family of 6 had plenty of room. The one bathroom is set up so that the bath/shower is semiprivate from the toilet and sink, so that's a plus. Easy walk to downtown cafe or church, and easy drive to Rochester. Great value. Would stay again.

Great Experience

We booked the Vrbo to visit family in the Scottsville area. The Vrbo property was exactly as described. It was well stocked and easily can cook if needed. We were so glad it had a washer and dryer. All in all a great experence and we plan on coming back. Cheryl the propety manager was wonderful as well. Very responsive and communicative. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location was perfect—just a few minutes from our family and so close to shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. It made our trip so easy and stress-free.The house was spotless when we arrived and felt so welcoming. It’s clear the owner really pays attention to the little details—everything from the well-stocked kitchen to the cozy touches around the home made it feel comfortable and inviting. We had everything we needed and more.The owner was wonderful to work with—quick to respond and genuinely thoughtful, which made us feel really cared for during our stay.All in all, it was the perfect home base for our trip, and we’d love to stay here again next time we’re in town!

This property has potential. It is located in a nice town within walking distance of a couple nice establishments. The apartment itself is spacious and kitchen well supplied. We found things could have been cleaner though. Couch was heavily stained, lighting fixtures full of dead flies, and a few things like these meant we weren’t as comfortable as we would’ve preferred. Owner was communicative prior to and during our stay and responsive to our observations. She did offer a small discount.
